Correct. Noske, Watson, Uncle, Agostino, Lucas and Golding all didn't play round 18 but in all likelihood will on Saturday.

We're facing both barrels of a straight sets exit in all honesty - there were about 5 players who faced Para Hills who had barely played A Grade all year. Would be an utterly remarkable effort for us to extend the season another week considering the outs we have at the moment.

But we will be doing our best nonetheless!

Ha, good to know Coxy gave him a hard time. He's new to our club this year but it already feels like hes been around forever. Absolute ripper of a bloke and good footballer to boot.

Can't have been that hard, he still kicked 4 goals in 3 quarters..

All things considered I think that was actually a solid effort. We had one genuine midfielder play - Bradford. One! If the ball comes in 200 times you're going to be on the wrong end of a couple every now and then. Someone with Cree's talent is also going to sneak a couple past you.

Hyde - family
Paterson - work
Davidson - work
Tonkin - family
Farrell - O/S
Halime - injured
Ellingham - old

... of those 7 players, I'd say 5 of them would be in out best 7 or 8. Patto is a role player. Ellingham is shit but is good for a laugh. Take out 5 of your better players and a cutla dour types and you're going to struggle against the best in the comp at full strength on their home deck.

Fair blow, I rate Halime and Hyde too.

Why didn't Ellingham play?

I did not. I had club stuff Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Thursday night. Cheese and Kisses Friday night.

No joke had to wash my undies and get some food

Plus I hate watching. I get too angry. Plus Port were playing.

Loved it. Both lads were good to play on. We were having quite the time.

Wish them the best next week against TTG.

I know blokes will say "its only div7" but must be a significant family event to miss a final. Can't believe an injured A grader wouldn't be at the game watching as well. No matter the distance or however angry they get watching.

Are you all looking forward to playing a couple of the SFL's finest in Lonsdale and Marion next season?

Family / personal reasons for Hydey. Tonks was at the birth of his first child.

Gee whizz I am surprised how much stock has been put into one less bloke standing on the sidelines has caused I must admit. What difference would that make exactly? Would I give off special ju ju juice to inspire them?

I didn't give it a second thought - another football faux pas that I have committed no doubt.

Birth of first child qualifies as a significant event. You wouldn't make any difference to the team or result but i wouldn't give a second thought to not be there, each to their own

How do you think that'll work? 3 relegated from D6? Can't imagine Fitzroy would be too eager with that idea.. and can't imagine Para Hills/Adel Lutheran being ok with staying down in D7 if they make the GF and don't win it..
