Heard last night that Darren Stupple is almost certain to coach the saints next year, one of the best football brains going around, and a great bloke. Most likely will be non playing as his hamstrings are shot.

He does have a good football brain, thats why he wont be coaching at christies next year!! He might be GROOMED into a coaching position further down the track, apparently its a done deal that chris groom wil be coaching down there next year. Lets just hope that the dont have the same selection panel for the new coach that they did last time when they chose meekins

Meekins has wasted 3 years with Christies, took over a team that had played finals and has taken the club backwards. Lost alot of players and Meekins dosn't seem to be able to recruit players to the club. Stupple would be ideal, lets hope the commitee picks the best coach and not someone who has a bit of a name.

Played in Tassie.

Came back coached Christies Beach, and i think one other club can't remember. Couple of runners up under his coaching in SFL.

Coached Tailem Bend in RMFL to 4 flags in the 90's.

Coached PHOS(?) to a couple of flags 5 or 6 years ago.

Assistant to Rehn at West Adelaide a few years ago.

As if Bachmann will be playing, what a joke for starters one of his good mates told me he doesn't want to play for meekins anymore, and he played league 2 games ago, if this is the case he has really fallen on his sword I wonder how mckee will go playing with a real superstar...
