I am not sure that's how it would pan out. If you use the Home/away shorts scenario, it is always the team who finishes higher at the end of the minor round who is classified as the Home team. Unless they had a change of heart, i think the status quo would remain.

Here we go, that's what I was dreading, has anyone experienced this situation over the past couple of years? There is claims for both sides.

What about this scenario, purely from a B grader perspective:

Div 6 - 2nd Semi Final
CLG v Westminster
1st Semi Final
Lockleys v Hope Valley

Div 6 Res - 2nd Semi final
Hope Valley v Westminster
1st Semi Final
Hectorville v CLG

Would Hope Valley's A's and B's both play at Lockleys? and does that mean CLG would get a home final in the B grade even though they finished lower than Hectorville? I'm not sure on how it works...?

Salisbury West were in a similar postion a few years ago

B's played a 1st semi Final at CBC not against CBC
A's played a 2nd semi at CBC against CBC

I think they try to match a club's A/B grades where ever possible but your situation does throw up an interesting twist.......

It'll depend on the A grade Home final so it will be at Lockleys. It would be CLG A's 2nd Semi and CLG B's 1st semi which means you would get lucky and play your 2nd Semi at Lockleys.

Ressies pretty much get no say, they will follow the same final as A grade.

What if 1st semi was Heccies and Hope Valley? That'd screw everyone! (except Heccies)

Pretty sure the loser of the second semi-final hosts the prelim regardless of minor round ladder position. In iScore i think it says:

Loser of Second Semi-Final vs Winner of First-Semi Final.

Same as for Grand Final, it's:
Winner of Second Semi-Final vs Winner of Preliminary Final.

If it's CLG v WOS then it probably would be mate, GFs are assigned based on ground conditions and facilities and location of the two clubs involved...

In your instance, I would think that WOS would stay together in away changerooms

Doesn't happen that way, if a club buys a home finals, and has both grades playing that weekend, both of those teams play at home, regardless of B Grade positions on the ladder.

So it would be CLG v Westminster and Hectorville v CLG, both at CLG. Hectorville's B would get stiffed, unless Heccies were hosting the other A Grade Final, in which then the B Grade would also play at home.
