Because I was in the middle of it... I spent my afternoon trying to fix 2 split heads, 3 concussions, a broken jaw and a broken cheekbone, so needless to say I didnt enjoy the day

i think they just got a huge fine and werent allowed to play there first 3 games
and they didnt get to go up a division!!

I beleive a few years back (2001) St.Pauls could not feild 2 sides so they were relegated back to the C grade comp and I reckon Smithfield finished 3rd in div 5 and got promoted to make up the numbers in div 4. It was either that of the demise of Glandore from div 1 to div 7 in 1 year. But that was how that situation was resolved

Westies were fined $2000 and kept in div 4, and started the year on -6 points. Not that that did anything, they won the flag in a canter...

hypothetical question..say salisbury west folded or werent wanted in the saafl etc..does that mean for the grades underneath div 3 only one team would be relegated?..if a team does drop out, it does change what happens like a ripple effect through the grades

Could still be hope Zedman as if Henley or Athelstone C Grades win or are runners up in Div 7, will exercise their right to stay down, meaning only 1 team in Div 6 will be relegated and who knows maybe the Div 6 finalists or runners up will also exercise the non promotion option who knows could be a snowball effect.....keep clutching at the straws!
