Perhaps a better question is,where has the support from the executive committee been for Mark?
In difficult times, sleeves need to be rolled up and lines of communication open. IMO there is more to
the pronlem than the CEO.

Your are right that one can not keep everyone happy and people in a position like that should not try to.
But this guy seems totally incompetent. Reading the host of posts about him over the last year suggests
that it is possibly not just a case of "not keeping everyone happy". Played 3 seasons ago in SAAFL before
going south and hewas disliked then, but this dislike has grown to differing levels now. Seems like it is
far more than a dislike. Can you see one post this year that supports him in anything that he has done?????
Am sure you would have the answers there Aceman, you seem to know everything OR think you do

With due respect Candyman, in response to your last sentence, I do not profess to quote"know everything OR think you do "unquote, however I have been involved in the SAAFL for long enough to show the respect to people that is warranted as distinct from you who are making assumptions from a distance based on heresay.
It's fantastic that you have an opinion, be it right or wrong, you are entitled to it.

I've got this third hand but I wonder how Shadiac will act to the fact it has been identified that Ellis Burchell has re-used his 2006 nomination form for the 2008/9 SAAFL Executive and worse still, simply whited out the old dates and substituted current ones so you would imagine he knew what he was doing was wrong. Hardly the behaviour of someone supposed to be representing the interests of our competition.

Just to clarify this, the reason he used the old form is because the people who nominated him in 2006 are unwilling to do it again.

Heard an interesting rumour the other day.

Apparently Mr Shadiac told the SAAFL executive that he had arranged Cos Cardone(apparently a chanel 9 big wig) to do a review of the SAAFL's media.

However, when contacted Mr Cardone had no idea of this.

What happened?

It's what I was told. Is there any other reason to do it?

Sheer laziness I suppose or a complete lack of respect for protocol. Either way it doesn't matter.

It's a lot worse if he did it because he wouldn't get nominated again.

Seems like the Cardone situation might be getting out of hand for Mr Shadiac. Apparently he has told the SAAFL Chairman that his meeting with Mr Cardone has been postponed and that it will occur next Wednesday. Apparently Mr Cardone still hasn't got a clue about the whole thing.

Will the meeting go ahead? Are my sources wrong? We will find out in a week's time.
