Most Dominant season not seasons  .

Henleys 2004 seems to be hard to match. That was a dominant season by the whole club not just the a's.

most dominant team not club

I made reference to the A's which would be my choice for the most dominant season but i then alluded to the success the club had that season   .

Doesn't really matter if people branch out a little from the title.

Were Goodwood really that dominant over the last four years? I remember them being underdogs in at least one GF. I'd say they won the games that mattered rather than dominating the league.

Goodwood were definately underdogs in 06 when they beat adelaide uni at alberton, if my memory serves me correctly smashed uni by over 7 goals.

Henleys year in 04 was certainly an exceptional effort and didnt unis b grade dominate a1 res for a few years in early 00s

I think they were good but I wouldnt say they dominated, considering Henly also smashed it in 04 and im pretty sure goodies won a couple from 00-03 i still would say they were pretty impressive. When playing at Kilburn in div 1 res i remember we lost by a goal to them once and you would have thought we actually won the game! We didnt win too many games in div 1 reserves!

HV B grade has only lost 3 games in the past two seasons 2007 & 2008.
(1 x minor round, 1 x Grand Final to Golden Grove and 1 x Qualifying Final to Blackfriars ) all 3 games were in 2007. Very similar to GG in that we've both only lost 3 games in 2 years and both won a GF and lost a GF in those years.

We did beat GG in a trial game in 2008 to just tip the scales slightly in our favour

word is may be another trial game next year with HV so hoping to even up the ledger..

Another crack at the magnificent Henley club again from the No Mercy. When will you learn Mercy that you cant beat Henley Mercy. You just keep having a go at them all the time. Try coaching them ;) ;) U know you cant beat Henley so why try Mercy. You have tried before but lost and lost every time when trying to out smart the sharkers

Disgraceful that you should have a go at Henley or Placey. The guy is a great Full Forward and most
capable of playing Divvy 1 and possibly the State Team. Looks like the Footy Chick and No Mercy have
a problems with the Place. Excellent Full forward. One of the best in th comp.

Ha ha. No doubt you are praising place so he accepts your offer to play down south with other Henley B graders.

when i played under 16s for North Pines in 2001, we Played against TTG they just won the Under 15 premiership and we played them once in the minor round and they beat us by 15 goals. they finished top and unbeaten. we finished second and played them in the First final they beat us by 3 points, they went into the Grand final without losing. the Moral of the story is that they where Dominant During the season and we still won the GRAND FINAL

The game of Australian Rules requires a side be dominant for only 1 game a year - The Grand Final

Nothing else matters :D

true but does that make them just the best side on the day?!

a dominant side is one that is the best all season and in the one that counts, the GF!
