Yeah I noticed that too, but I think the main problem was making sure that there were four teams who could play at home with A&B Grades away. Not sure how else they could do it unless they can find more neutral ovals?power09 wrote:So it looks like 8 teams. Pretty sure the fixture still needs changing as some teams are playing the same team four times at the moment.

I understand that, but the D Grade can't play at home if the A&B Grade do. So say for example Salisbury, Mitcham, Broadview, Flinders Park and Port District all have home games in the A Grade that week. Theoretically, all 5 D Grades should play away. Can't happen when there's only four games for the weekend. These are the weeks when they'll have problems.finn wrote:Pag wrote:Yeah I noticed that too, but I think the main problem was making sure that there were four teams who could play at home with A&B Grades away. should be fine - teams with a c and d grade play a double header
ie uni's c6 team starts at 12.15 then the c1 team will play the afternoon game.
draw should just be alternate weeks to the a and b grades.

Yeah they were always going to have trouble. At least they programmed to play the teams in same divisions on the same weekends as the As, Bs and Cs. We play Mitcham (As, Bs, Cs & Ds) in Round 7/16, and SMOSH (As, Bs, Cs & Ds) in Round 9/18. I'm assuming it's the same for the other clubs.gothebombers wrote:i think if you have a real good look at the draw...coz theres only 8 teams and most are diff divs for the A grade...it was never going to be easily set up and i think c1 only has 9 teams...which also makes it hard to structure...dont forget the A s and B s play home , the C s and D s are away..when the a and c d grades dont match..where do they play...i dont think theres really a strait answer...will always be some club will have a hassle , if ya get me drift..

LMA wrote:Yeah the draw is an unusual one I know Pt Dist play Flinders Pk and SMOSH 4 times each and the rest of the sides twice, it could cause some discussion come finals for the sides who draw the yet to be determined top sides 4 times.
Who has every else drawn 4 times ?
Also Finn, are the Uni's in this grade the Farmers ?
