We've been to mainly Mildura and Mt Gambier over the past few years and both have been pretty good. Went to Victor one year and that wasn't bad either.
Went to Robe last year on the Oct long w'end and it was SHITE! The fri night wasn't too bad - but I think that was because we were smashed from the bus drive!! But the Sat night was dead!! We were in the big pub and there would've been about 40 people (inc. us) up until about 8pm and then by 9pm there was only about 12!!

I don't reccomend Robe!!

My favourite places are Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.......... ahhh, the memories!!!

You pay extra for their commission. Better off organising everything yourselves.

Yes Portland used them a few years ago, and it was a waste of time....
They made a fortune from us, and gave us a stubby holder......
The year after i organised it and saved players prob $50 or $60 and we stayed in a better place....

We do a fundraiser at my soccer club for home games.

It cost $2 and you write down who you think will get best on ground in the A Grade. We sell tickets after training on the Friday night.

Once its announced who was Best on Ground they individually draw all the tickets until the first ticket with the correct name is drawn.

We do prize winner gets $40 and the player judged best on ground gets $40 as well but obviously that can be done to best suit the club and needs of where the money is going to.

It's quick and real simple but very enjoyable, it generates alot of talk in the club on a friday night, with players talking themselves up or down depending on their bet interest lol.

Victor and Mildura are fantastic footy trips.

Wasn't a footy trip but I recall a memorable trip to Mildura with Chuck Norris and a series of small palm trees!
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
