Was big Roo there to take his or did he bail?

I taped the club song after the game for the show this week.

Someone could've at least taught the big fella the words

He was there all night - well, I saw him up to the point Mrs Jimmy said it was time for me to go home. I wanted to stay coz I was a lone Pie voice amongst Crows supporters. I probably would have been fragged if I was there when we won

hahahahah...i left the club when the crows lost...went to all of the crows supporters houses and removed all rope and sharp objects. We lost a GF and the the crows going down. At half time those guys would have been cheering thinking they were going to be over in Melbourne on the footy trip and would have been watching the crows next week.

He always stays back - he has been great for our club this year. Always trains whether he can play or not. It also helps us get the players from school who are chased by numerous clubs

Every team and every player for that matter deserves their 5 seconds in the sun if they win a GF.....

Some people may never win another one, so they have every right to expect their medal after the siren in front of the crowd!

Maybe a fair call but the decision was left upto Heccies and they chose to do it their way. Personally if i had just played a GF i would probably prefer it handed to me by my coach and captain in the club rooms with the supporters back there instead of on the ground...just my feeling though.

I think the SAAFL official was about to hand them out then basically the whole club started to sing the song out on the oval so our President just decided to do the presentation of the medals later that night at the club. No harm done.

Last year we had a choice and decided to have the cup on the oval but get the medals presented back at the club. Thought it worked well.
We are a drinking team with a football problem!
