My bad mate, clearly got the wrong bloke and went off half cocked.
There are a few whingers on here I get confused... :?
Again, apologies

I'd check a certain column in the Footy Budget and you'll hit a gold mine

This is coming from the man with a favourite hobby of finding spelling mistakes in the SAAFL budget.

Just showing that you are full of shit as usual Shrek

You are right though - another gold mine if I bothered to read your column

Firstly, you forgot a full stop. Big mistake from the spelling and grammar nazi.

Secondly, all the spelling mistakes were inclusions from the editor.

Thirdly, how do you know my column was a gold mine of whinging about the league or spelling mistakes if you don't bother to read it?

Oh Jimmy! You should stop starting arguments you can't win. You really are starting to look like no friends Nigel who had to change colleges because the boys were picking on him.

Ah, where to start

Firstly, I have never said spelling or punctuation is important on this forum but you certainly have slung off at other people when it suits you

Secondly, we only have your words for the spelling mistakes, and considering your credibility, there are considerable grounds for doubt

Thirdly, I didn't mention a specific column - you are going to be an absolute bunny for even the most junior solicitor - Then again, that's all there is contesting speeding fines - a level you should achieve over the next 10 years if you ever pass law - I thought there were conditions to stop loafers sponging off the education system, but I have no doubt, this was the first thing you learnt in Uni so you could exploit it.

Ah Shrek, see if you can find a team in the APFL that would take you as a recruit. Apart from having no ability, it is well known that you were run out of the APFL and left very few, if any, friends behind. It would be interesting for Psyber to tell us about the condition where someone suffers an affliction and attempts to hide it by accusing others. I left my first team because I was recruited by PAOC as some PAC mates heard I was back from the country. It actually happens quite a bit in the old scholars’ arena, but, of course, you wouldn't know that because you wouldnt be on anyone’s radar - and I still drink with my old team mates just like I did after watching them beat you this year - at least your football ability gave us something to laugh about in the pub (both times)

Very pedestrian Shrek, but I expect no better. Maybe you should run off to the Politics forum and post the question whether there will be a High Court challenge to a new law because playing a lawyer makes you feel like you can get people to have a higher opinion of you

I would have just waited until my post was deleted instead of coming out with that poor effort.

Hey, did you delibarately write a post that long in the hope no-one would read it?

Sorry Nigel, back to selling insurance plans door to door for you.

Gone slightly off track lads....

Great reading, but not really the issue....

Fair enough Choccies, what is your opinion over what should happen with the media next year?

Should the league adopt the mustachioed marvel Hosie and his Footy Budget or stick with the one they've got.

Seeing as one costs money and one makes money I know which one I'd try and develop.

Laz to be honest with you I'm not sure about it all as I dont really know who does what, when, where and how so I try to find out what I can from this site once I sift thru all the crap. But obviously one that makes money. And I know from doing the weekly newsletter for Golden Grove that sometimes stretched out past 20 pages that it is a very time consuming thing with little reward or praise from the readers.

I think the time and effort Hosie has put into getting his team of contributors is invaluable. He needs to do a bit of work on his writing skills and presentation of the budget but that can be learnt.

Photos would be a massive improvement fo the Footy Budget.

Plenty of experts ready to have a dig but never willing to put their hand up to help. So if Hosie has plenty of contributors and is keen then let him continue I say... We can all improve...

Okay, here's one from left field.
I was just looking through the SAAFL book and have come to the conclusion that if clubs need Clash jumpers and away shorts, shouldn't clash socks become part of the uniform too where necessary?
How many clubs wear plain black, navy or royal socks?? Plenty!
Have a look at the Div 1 GF, the 2 teams wear plain black or plain navy socks, not a lot between those 2 colours so why not???? In the instance I've mentioned, as the away team Henley could wear white/navy hooped socks, GS could have red as their away colour for example.

Thoughts please, and sensible heh!

I don't need you on here TT rattling cages. By the way, it's your Broadview mate who's doing that
Your club is one who could get away from the plain royal blue sock, you'd look good in red & royal hoops, don't you reckon! ;)

No investment from me TT or "vested interest'', purely a thought about the whole scenario cause that's what the big boys do in the AFL.
The "away" uniform would then be complete and 'Enhancing the brand' would be the term to use.
