You don't know me but I used to play at Uni until half way through last year. I was just curious who you got to see if I knew them. Good luck with your first season.

Hang on, are'nt you a Centrals supporter !!

I know that one young water polo champ thinking of lining up for Blacks (hounds pfft) is wavering due to the fact that playing in the A7 div may lead to injuries that will affect his preferred sport.

Wrong one I think Cappa, this one works for me, is just 17 & was just picked in the u20's Aust squad last week, so he'd have his eye on the 2008 olympic squad I'd reckon.

If that was the case then why would consider playing football at all?

For fitness in the off season, but as you stated now it's getting serious so I'd say the footys out especially div7 where anything could happen.
He only played one game for the Walky C's when they were short & 2nd 18's for Blacks last year.

As of Feb 20... The Oxford Hotel North Adelaide (under new management) becomes the major partner of the Blackfriars Old Scholars Football Club. They have offered us their upstairs room as a home base for the hounds who have been out on the track for about 4 solid weeks now. Minor plans are underway to give the room a real footy club feel with player photos, honour board, foundation member board and action images from our first few games. This is a fantastic way to set up the clubs social base for its inaguaral season and years to come.

CJ - thats fantastic news for the Hounds. All credit to you guys for the way you have gone about this. A social base like the Oxford should underpin success off the field. A few beers at the Oxford is very appealing and on that basis I dont think it will be long before the Roots will be bringing the cameras down to the Hound Pound!
