Some you could really Baust about  and the returns of key position players Sean McGregor and Henners Mason. Not to mention Horses replacement being the Meninge Man Mountain  I think you will find that Gaza are cherry ripe for a defence of their Premiership with their biggest issue at the moment being the oval re-development being behind schedule meaning their may be some interesting discussions on the draw leading up to Round 1 in 2012.

BOP feel free to correct me if im wrong. That is of course if they keep potential 2012 B Graders like yourself in the loop ;) .

ha ha. thanks for the vote of confidence in my playing ability WW. but yeah about the rest of the team i think your pretty spot on. unless grainge has said something about me to you that i don't know :)[/quote]

Heard 2 senior players who played for gaza, last season are about to sign with bordertown, over the next few weeks. Can any gaza ppl confirm or deny as the bordertown person seemed very sure of himself.

One of the 2 would be Brewer who has been mentioned earlier, he is doing pre season with us at PAC. Then heading out there I believe

just because you cant get your seniors running right. get up to a decent standard, spend some money on your seniors and you might keep your juniors.
apart from henley, would there be any other div 1 clubs, particularly successful ones, that have a good amount of players that played juniors at the club?
ttg and eastern pk would've, and i respect them greatly for it, but look what happened to them this year....

Eastern park has got a great record of keeping young players at there club, sure they got relegated from div1 but there is a lot of clubs that won't even come close to playing at that level

I think its important for Eastern Pk to keep this "core group" of U\18s from this season & work hard with their development over the next 3 years & i have no doubt they'll play a bigger part than what they have in Div 1 this year in the future.
A bit of pain for some gain.

In refrence to the previously asked Bordertown question ; yes Matt Downie has also signed with them and there would be close to a thousand reason$ for this. One of them is not his love for driving  . My sources tell me that Nathan "Freddo" Fredrick was already up there and they did in fact sign 2 others. The mail says that Btown will have 16 boys from Adelaide playing who will train down here together.

Going to be difficult for Brewer then. Gaza toughed him up. PAC will turn him backwards to a hand bagger and then he has to harden up again at Bordertown.

nah haven't signed brunoli. the look alike is benbow. bloody hell the bloke is massive.
work at the ground is part of a massive redevelopement. building a new community centre next to the club, changing the direction of the oval slightly, making it about 15-20m longer, erecting light towers for night footy, planting more trees, building a new playground, etc...

But you still have to lock your car and don't leave valuables visible. Half the oval is gone. Haven't seen it on this post but Horsnell to Freeling - $1 k sign on, 8 hungie a game, hope they have a good tanning machine.

That's if they can get on their ground didn't see the tractor move for 3 days this week in the same spot on the way home as it was in the morning.

if you saw some of the inaccurate scores we kicked last year, that's the reason we at gaza are all in favour of moving the goals

I have heard Thompson. Not sure of first name. All I got told was he is a mid field/forward and covered in tatts. Oh and of course, looking for a heap of cash.
