Haha, you boys better hope for a bit of rain this week too, because the cricket pitch in the middle isn't as soft as usual because of the lack of rain during the season, and the grandstand side is lacking a bit of grass with no rain and our Bs and Cs still training predominantly on that wing. The fans won't be there though boys, they'll be down at the rectangle at Pembroke, so there will be plenty of car space on the outer side.

I might get down and have a look after our B grade if Dutchy and Bradman are going to put on a show for me, see if this Div 7 is as good as everyone says it is.

Any particular reason why you have those feelings Dogwatcher?

1990 - we defeated an absolutely star-studded Salisbury side to win an under 14s grand final we weren't supposed to. Pag, you'd know a lot of the players from that side I'd reckon.

1995 - first season of senior footy. We were undefeated, no side had got to within six goals of us all year. The majority of the side was aged between 17 and 23. It was the best spirited/social team I've ever played in or are likely to. But...on the big day Smithfield wanted it more and beat us at our own game. It was a flag - for my beloved Eagles - that I desperately wanted and will never get. That's why last year's premiership was such a celebration for so many people.

I'm sure carey you will see blacks on top which is a mighty effort for a first year.. a couple of losses in the 2nd half of season but that doesn't matter, the season starts again and if you think two losses are worrying us at the end of the season your thinking wrong. As i said it all starts from here and it will be fantastic to have a week off to get rid of any niggles and get 100% right to take on the opposition, which i see won't be paralowrie as they are 4th... give cj as much crap as you guys want it won't get you anywhere... Good luck to all teams obviously they all deserve to play finals football!!
Any injury updates?? Riddler how did that fella pull up after doing his ankle??

We had quite a few injuries come out of our game which was the only dampener on what was a pretty good afternoon for both grades.....He will have a test this week and at this stage he would be 50/50.
One of our young fellas also broke his Collarbone in 2 places in the last minute of the game!

Not panic stations yet as we have 4-5 coming back this week...gee sorry lads listen to me i'm starting to sound like CJ!
