Good to see things going well down there mate, keep up the good work and good luck for the season, I'll pop in for a beer one night.

Too many games being played, takes away from the prestige on playing on Australia's most sacred day. Amateur league should limit the games and spread them out geographically between 2 sides of the same area or traditional rivals. And playing before 12 is just a no go The C's can go one bloody day without being joined to the hip of the A's and B's there is more than enough triple headers throughout the season

Tend to agree!!!

Its not to hard for clubs to respect simple traditions of which this is one. People all say its the most sacred, important etc etc day of the year in Australia yet alot cant respect one of the easiest traditions to do so. All for a little money grab!

Definatley agree about to many games on!

Most wont agree but imho i would like to see it kept to just one Div1 game with last years grand finalists up against each other same as the SANFL, would be another incentive for teams to strive to reach the pinnacle of SAAFL football and also make the day a great showcase of what Amatuer football is all about.

Give it 5-10 years and ANZAC day games will lose their prestige.

I would probably go to that type of game if my SANFL team was not involved.

Some Country Leagues do not have round 1 until ANZAC day has been and gone with a Grand Final rematch at the premier's home ground as a stand alone fixture with the remaining games on the first Saturday after.

I'd say 1 game per division, perhaps the two promoted sides or what LMA said.

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

I really hope that every team that is playing at home today makes a donation to legacy or at least the local RSL. Today is a big money spinner for a lot of amature clubs and I hope they can pass that on to the local community. Dont take advantage of what is a fantastic day by commercialising it.

Rant over.

CLG win by around 100 points in a one sided game. Number 4, Chad, wins the medal. Great day with plenty of people there. Thought 4,3,23 were the best players for CLG
