To be fair Locks should have been 25-30 points up at quarter time, some poor kicking and decision making was the only thing stopping them, 2nd quarter was pretty even but you could tell CBC were getting the game back on their terms and it was a worry going into half time.
Haren missed a sitter early in the last that would have made it really tight but missed and that was the game as they ran away with it.
I heard Locks have now lost 6 of their last 8 GF's, that being said the club is as strong as Ive ever seen it, lets hope that continue this growth.
What they are building is outstanding, but another club who has gone up 2 divisions without a flag. Edwardstown have gone from Div 4 to Div 2 without one as well. I’m sure there is others. Not a knock on Lockleys but it would have been nice for them to get one. CBC have been in Div 3 for a few years and in the end that was probably the difference in the game. Well coached, well drilled and well done.
