Now there is a topic, the best and worst guernseys of the SAAFL!
There are some good ones, and some shockers.
IMO Old Ignations is the worst! Everytime I see it it reminds me of Foodland! That and CBC just because it's purple!
I think the best would be a toss up between Henley, Salisbury West and of course Pooraka

no known reason for NAFC to end the "Greenacres experiment".
They are making ends meet at the Pokie establishment, & are looking to build new clubrooms (I believe) for the Dragons, so they can complete the take-over of the old ones, & renovate them (if they haven't already)

My understanding of the story is simple and from the 'inside'.

The NAFC would love to have Greenies located on the bottom oval, when there's footy on the top oval the pokie revenue on that day declines dramatically - fact.
Hence the relocation idea. Problem is PAEC have reservations about parking space, you need a certain amount of parks per X amount of people and the people living in the area alongside the bottom oval are not in favour of the idea one bit so the new premises may not be viable - fact!

As for PAOC guernsey being bad - wtf - it is as plain and non-crappy as you can get. The only problem was when the CEO required the stupid West End logo on a school jumper. I'd say if you think it is $hite, you've been on the receiving end

Jimmy, nothing wrong with the PAOC jumper however like all SAAFL clubs, it is a requirement that the West End logo is placed on the jumper. To say this is a "school" jumper is not quite right, I reckon PAOC means Old Collegians not current students so whether you like it or not, rules are rules. Reminds me of Geoff Heard's argument that Scoth College constitution states "no logos on school jumpers" so he kicked up a fuss about the same thing. The club is affiliated with the SAAFL not the Idependent Schools Sports Association and must abide by its rules and regulations. Every other club does, why should they be the exception?

Same reason we move the air conditioners at the cricket Aceman - only kidding ;)

To tell you the truth, I could not care whether it is on there or not, but I will start kicking up if they start trying to make us drink the crap

My prediction - West End wont be around in 5 years - it is a dying brand with no future
