Same reason we move the air conditioners at the cricket Aceman - only kidding ;)

To tell you the truth, I could not care whether it is on there or not, but I will start kicking up if they start trying to make us drink the crap

My prediction - West End wont be around in 5 years - it is a dying brand with no future

Bullshit Jimmy! I bet you love sucking down lukewarm tinnies of draught on a 40 degree day like today.

Plenty of people still drink draught, just not the trendies. I reckon people hate the stuff these days without even trying it!

Reminds me of a story. The PAOC "football" cricket team was playing on the back oval on a day that was 45C in the shade. I was coming home from the beach with Mrs Jimmy and stopped in to watch. A mate was sitting on the sidelines, in the sun, with a 6 pack in the plastic. The plastic had fogged up in the heat. I touched a stubbie and they had gone hot - I casually asked him ".......... - you're not going to drink those are you" to which he replied: "Jimmy - anyone can drink cold beer"

That doesnt explain why I went to a show at the brewery recently for the launch of the natural beer promise, which only relates to WED and New.
I doubt they would have done all that research, etc to kill off the red can

It doesn't fit into the national branding that they need

F-all people drink it outside of SA

They were trying to get the NT Govt to drop the 24 can rule for WED - would have doubled the turnover

The irrational hatred stems from a desire to look cool. It started a while ago, the trendy kids when I was at high school were often overheard saying Draught tastes like cat's piss. You are 15 you idiot! All beer tastes like cat's piss to you!

CBCOC coach D. Jarman must be serious about having a kick this year. Just saw the great man riding along the esplanade at Henley wearing a bloody rain coat trying to sweat off some kilos!!
