cockshell b perrie at some stage maybe?
saw plympton v lockleys on the weekend. plympton only just in front over the 3 periods i saw. lockleys looked pretty handy for div 6 if plympton are the big talk in div 5.
hence the reason its called TRAIL game, players in diff spots and not full sides, i played 2 trails against lockleys over past 2 years and we have been ordinary both trials...again coz its a trail game...not full strength. yes we have played ordinary in trails against lockleys but we have finished 3rd past 2 season when we have played them in a trail during pre season.
i wasn't saying anyone played ordinary footy bulldog. lockleys were well drilled. plympton also, bought the ball back to the middle going into fwd line and were very disciplined not just having pot shots. smith and the other tallish bloke wearing #11 looked good up front and a couple of handy defenders. good hit out, many weeks to go yet.

Plympton had ALOT of players out.. won by 15-20 goals... Lockley's foot skills were very ordinary however still a good hit out... They always are...WOuldn't look to much into it...

Alot of big calls on here. have'nt heard much hope from the Ingle Farm,Kenilworths or the Elizabeths on this forum. Looks to be a good standard comp this year, maybe a bit more even....

Did'nt write you off mate, don't twist my quote to suit your argument. I said there has not been much hope on here, the real truth is that no one knows what others are going to be like. More so aiming my quote directly at the clubs that claim they will be top threats, even though it's still 3-4 weeks till round 1.

anyway, just a trial as we all know. i just thought that lockleys were competitive against a fancied higher division club regardless of who was in and out. just my opinion.
