If thats the case, from afl (vfl mostly) to a1 amateurs is a fair drop, you would think he would be capable of ressies footy at the maggies surely? or not?

i guess we are just going to have to expect the unexpected with div 1 this year. again the results have amazed me. fantastic to see it so even. imagine winning 6 games for the year and finishing bottom and just missing out of the finals at the same time. again, impossible to predict.
well done also to pt districts. second half of the season has showed a true test of character after looking like relegation. the coach deserves a lot of credit from what i hear for giving the boys a shake up.

A very good win by the Rams at home today. After an even first half, they got mobile in the second and showed that some good form is very close.
Great efforts from Hudson, Collins, Stengle, Officer, Antoniaddis, Clark and Brunoli was '''shut down' well and truly by Gav Rose. Keep that up and things could be okay. Pitt and Chambers look finished, Weeks played well for TTG and got them back to within 3 goals in the last quarter.
The word is that Culpitt will be gone after 1 season, some are saying "it's a damn good thing"! Not the most popular bloke at Pertaringa by all accounts both on and off the field..

Ace, i presume you meant Wicks for TTG, did play well [ i hope Clark learnt a lesson about running to both ends to do his job properly ]. G. Rose , my best for GX ,does not give up, his second [and more ] efforts are great. if the rest of your "$uper$tars put in the same sort of effort all game [ not just when it suits them ] GX would be a very 'team'.

Ooops, slips, sorry! Got my candle Wicks mixed up with my calendar Weeks.
Just a small reminder, they are not my "superstars" but the clubs, and yes you are correct. It would be a "super" team.

That certaintly wouldnt surprise me. You only have to ask people from Glenelg and Norwood about him and I am sure you wont get a glowing response.

Where are you getting your info on Culpitt? And how can you say Pitt and Chambers are finished after watching one game. Pitt would probably be the leading goal kicker in the competition if he hadn't missed games because of his injury. And Chambo hasn't kicked as many goals this year as he has played more up the ground.

might have to agree with Ace on this [admittedly on one games performance ] but Pitt was not a factor in the game and can't recall Chamb. being overly involved. must say very disappointed in TTG's [ and GX to a lesser extent ] approach to the game ,given the recent history between them. not expecting a boxing match but a bit more passion from both sides would turn a very ordinary game into something a bit better, something up to A1 standard

That info came from one of your members actually. Not sure I've only seen one game they've played in either!
With regards Pitt and Chambers, with what I saw yesterday, I reckon they are both carrying injuries, both are getting towards the end and to be quite honest, Pitt didn't look one bit interested , Chambers wasn't much better so in my opinion, they may well be thinking they're ready to pull the pin.

Good win for the SHOC boys on the weekend. Two very tight games versus Modbury this year and both games could have gone either way. Looked like a repeat of the 2008 GF with Modbury's 5 goal to nil opening!

A great last 2 rounds in Div 1 to come...

Yes even the first time we played this year we were 5 goals up and lost. Once again we jumped out the blocks and probably should have lead by more at qtr time....

2nd Qtr lost 2 key players with injuries and then another early in the 3rd. Boys battled hard but ran out of legs.

Yeomans marked everything in defence. Vandy kicked 5 goals 8 or something rediculous so could have been a different story but hey thats footy.

Interested in hearing Peoples views on who they think will get relagated and who will play off in the Grand final this year.

Modbury and Sacred Heart to go down. Both very stiff.

Goodwood Saints Gepps Cross Grand final.
