I wouldn't call it an injustice if Modbury stay up, but they would have to count themselves VERY lucky if they did. There's NO WAY they would have defeated TTG over 4 quarters.
If they do win their last two games, you could say they deserve another year in Div 1 - having said that no team really deserves to be relegated this season. There will be a lot of "what ifs" at the end of '09, even more than usual at the post season discussions for a few clubs.

There is NO WAY we would have beaten TTG over 4 quarters?? Sorry?? I think we had kicked 4 or 5 goals in a row in wet conditions leading into half time. How you can say that there is NO WAY we would have won is ridiculous

Not a bad comment considering he tore his hamstring off the bone and will miss at least 6. i think he is more worried about being able to walk properly and steering his U/18s to a flag now. Fully fit tho you would be silly not to consider the finals specialist. Ur full of valuable knowledge about SN tho Artie.. mayb u should stick to the Div 4 forum and Nth Haven...

From what i have heard modbury were dominating the game against ttg and there was no way ttg were goin to win so the right decision was made in awarding them the game

Yeah i was at the Modbury vs Gullies game when the lights went out. Modbury were looking the goods all over the ground and certainly had a run on. They were more than keen to head back out if lights came back on and looked quite dissapointed when they were originally advised the match would be recorded as a draw.

Big call to say they dont deserve to stay up. Hopefully they can prove a few wrong this week by knocking Salisbury North off at home.

No way TTG were going to win? What a load of crap. Only 2 goals down at half time. I would've backed the lads in to come back and win.

I guess no-one will ever find out hey.... ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

If your still so upset about it Butterworth maybe you could speak to the whingers at Gaza about what process you need to go through to launch an investigation. . There experts at bringing up issues that were already dealt with. .

This is a question for someone from Gepps Cross. I see that your C grade has forfeited a few times in the last month. Just wondering what are the chances of your C grade forfeiting this weekend.

Thanks

I'm not upset with it i was just replying to what Artie wrote saying TTG had no chance of winning which is garbage. 2 goals is nothing.

Dan, not sure but should be okay. Have too many injuries and sickness, last week we had only 17 to choose from for the C's and 2 pulled out Sat morning through sickness and another 2 for work. You can't play with less than 14 players. If the A & B grades get some back, we've currently got 6-8 on the sidelines, so if we get at least 5 back that should look after the C grade. Talking to one of your people today, they mentioned you'd like a forfeit so you could all go and watch the A & B grade play. Not sure you'll get your wish! I hope not anyway.
