Must be a cracking coach to have those sort of philosophies.....

However......................

I have heard these sort of things said about many people on this forum and in truth only very few have proven in my opinion to be true.....

No matter how good a coach is there is always a small proportion of the team that aren't happy.....
Harsh but fair.....

Booze,

Just to clarify - my first comment was around his coaching - the second around a specific incident in his playing days at Edwardstown. I've also never been coached by the bloke. But I've seen first hand what I described in the earlier post. IMO There's a difference between belting someone and being a hard / tough footballer.

generally in any team there is 7 players that hate the coach 7 that love him and 7 that havnt made up there mind yet. the key to being a successful coach is to keep those that are not sure away from the ones that dont like u

You have got to be kidding, gottobekidding last time i checked football games were 50/50 contests, to say Seaton cant win might just provide the rams with an edge to get over the raggies.

oh yeah for sure. this forum is taken soooo seriously by the players that i'm sure the coach would let his players know exactly what was said in order to fire them up

Seaton are good enough to upset Athelstone, the endeavour they showed last week & consistancy over 4 qtrs is what they need to display against Athelstone to take the points & save them from relegation,
To hear someone like gottabekiddin say they can't win is a joke, i don't know how many games this person has played in his day but i think its better for him to just ZIP IT UP as thats just an embarrassing statement.

Adel Uni V Kilburn. not to much trouble! 70+
Pembroke v PHOS. If Phos can't win this game they have no chance finals time. 11-20
Broadview v Payenham N\U. Very good side if at full strength. 11-20
Flinders Pk v Eastern Pk E\P got a scare last week & if are a finals contenter they need to pump Flinders Pk. 31-40
Athelstone v Seaton Seaton are good enough to take the points here, they won't play finals but this is there final to stay in Div2. The same approach as last week is needed. 1-11

Pressures on jimmy!!

Broadies still with a few injuries but are up for this game tomorrow, great weather and expect a good crowd seen North arent playing, think Broadies have a few surprises for PNU tomorrow, but in saying that I reckon it will be a close game and the side that makes the most of their opportunities will win, G/F preview one would hope

But Donnelly isn't fat anymore - he's a lean, mean goal kicking machine 8)

He would not be fat in Div 6, playing out of a pocket or pinch hitting off the bench(or kicking players behind play) ;). I think we could make a sitcom better than Sienfeld with his efforts over the years with Gepps, TTG and EP whilst being on the ground at Camden Oval

maybe my comments have been taken the wrong way but....
broadview have a chance to jump strait back into div 1
pnu have never ever been promoted to div 1
e pk wernt meant to be this sucessful
phos can still shake everyones boat
uni and the raggies still have a shot
maybe its not as tight as div 1 but div 2 is still a cracker of a comp....
it will come down to round 18 im thinkin.
i wasnt at torrens valley last week but 6th placed athlestone beat then top placed tigers, div 2 is some good footy, thats what matters most.
