I can answer that. He played the second game as well, but only the first half, packed his bags and went home after that. Apparently was playing back pocket (on Novosel?) and didn't look interested at all.

When we played Adel. Uni they had about 3 or 4 that had to play both games. Not sure why though as you say cant be a lack of numbers.

Yeah he played in both games....played quite well in the div 7 res (would of got votes) then strolled out for the div 7 team in a back pocket, only played 2 quarters and left at half time...didn't look to enthused playing in that team, either that or wasn't happy playing on Novosel :D

i see ovingham forfeited the B-grade on the weekend. Will this be a regular occurance or simply a 1 off? i.e. will they have a team for this week

Although Uni have huge numbers, when you spread these over 8 teams it can become very thin some weeks meaning blokes have to double up. This isn't unusual and anyone that's played 2 games in a day knows it's not easy - especially if the 1st game is a tough one.

yeah i'd definately the div has become much stronger. i played in Div 7 in 07 before i moved to Ovies and this year is heaps stronger. i'd say the best 21 that i'm playing in now would have beaten the best 21 i was in then by 5-8 goals and we finished 3rd that year...
not only is it strong it's fairly even. there aren't many 15-20+ goal floggings, and eben when we've been beaten by a few, the game is still a hot contest...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Id say that it is stronger as well nuggety. I think the thing that Ive noticed the most is probably that clubs are about to bring through their young talent and less seems to have been lost to the clubs higher up the grades then in years gone past. Although just an observation that Ive noticed although could be wrong.

OK a few points about this...
1. He had a prior commitment and could only ever play C’s for a half, this was understood and accepted
2. He was absolutely knackered after 7R game, very tough game, tagged and had no energy left, wasn’t that he was disinterested just exhausted
3. He was on Novosel for half of 2nd quarter, and Novosel only got 1 touch (goal) in this time, but that was from a free down the ground out of Wes' control

I think people should move on from giving Legrand a hard time. Everyone knows he capable of playing higher and everyone knows he doesnt want to.

No point opening this can of worms for the 20th time yes he is a sand bagger but his friends play in 7res and as soon as you say anything about it the Adel uni blokes on here just come on say the same sh#t as they normally do.
