how will they man up on thornton, williams and depalma up forward? all three men could be dangerous if not watched closely.

Morran will get Thornton, you'd think. Burridge would get Williams, if he plays. Depalma is a hard matchup, has been playing through the midfield and half-back.

I reckon Portland would be more worried about Haven's forwards.............Portland Forwards struggled to make an impact last game from memory!!

who do u think ty duerden will get???
get on board the thunder train!!!

Yeah, i heard Demps was in pretty good form last week. 7 goals in 3 quarters ! Class act, and he really hurt us last time too. Got some quality touches when the game was in the balance early in the last quarter. Steadied the ship.

I mentioned Morran earlier, but he hasnt been playing, has he ? Maybe Mooney on Thornton, now that will be an interesting match-up...

That's true, Forrest was the difference last time, IMO. He kicked 8 from memory. We didnt get the matchup right from the start, and to be honest, we didnt have anyone on the day to stop him.

Our forward line should look a little different from last time though.[/quote]

Have portland got anyone this time around to stop him.

moran been in the B's.
ty duerdin would be a good match up on williams but burridge also fits the profile.
if depalma plays forward mcintee to take him and make it a possitive for north haven by running him off his legs, macca is a strong boy that will match it with depalma one on one but will be way to quick fit and attacking for depalmas liking

at the same time piccachu running of depalma could be costly as he is dangerous when close to goals especially if he is loose

Burridge did a good job on him last time. Williams may play B grade though.

I hope McIntee does play on Depalma, takes a good ball getter away from the ball. I agree that he would be too quick for him, but not sure on the strength thing - i think Johnny would have his measure there.

Yeah, i did see Morran's name in the B grade come to think of it.

Yeah, good match-up if plays forward. You would be surprised how fit he is though, has been playing onball and off half back.

will cocksy play.
seen him tuesday morning and could barly walk so i would think he is no better than 50 50.
who will take forrest and lipson, best match up on lipson would have to be hicks who has played b's all year.
and cocks would have to go to forrest if he was to play but if not who will get the job.

and the only other one i can think of would be laslette but would you take one of your ball getters and sit him at full back

You are forgetting Granleese, Hughes, Coppins, Davis, Perkins, Gein or Heff. I would think one of those would get Forrest long before the ones you mentioned.
