She is a life member of the club?????????

Interesting that people she brought to the club to help assist her in building her empire, were the ones telling her its time to move on.....
Took them 3 years to realise she was a hinderance.
i was trying to say she had overstayed her welcome for longer than 3 years

guys, bagging long serving members of the club doesn't come across very well, perhaps keep it in-house, huh?

Footy Chick,

Your point taken about long serving members of footy clubs....

However, when you have a person who is devious and causes trouble constantly to make themselves look good, that is not in the best intersts of the club...

Also you have people work their arses off to help the club and then one person undoes all the hard work and then when success comes they think they played a part... As mentioned earlier, best thing to happen at this club for a long time!!

well said choco
any person that drives away great people from the club, people that helped build a great club enviroment because she seen them as a threat to her thrown can not be good for the club and i have an opinion that she is the reason why portland have been stuck in div four for the past few years only my opinion though but it sounds like others share it

Got your point across boys, now lets move on.

People arent interested in the committee goings-on at Portland.

ok, there's a holiday, holiday, holiday up for grabs for anyone who chooses not to leave it alone.

You've been asked by a mod and 2 respectable representatives of the football club in question.

Sorry FC, I think it means diddly squat when their A grade finished so low, all it tells me is that they had players not putting their hands up to play the top grade. I could understand if they finished mid-range in the magoos, there's nothing worse that seeing a team struggle in the A's but finish up near the top in the B's, it does nothing for the club.

thats a fair point
but in some extreme cases there would be clubs that have a group of players that can cut it at B grade level but struggle in the A's resulting in a crap A grade side and a good B grade side???

well put. The B grade did not hold back one player last year from playing A grade. The A grade played 38 players last year. So lightning get a clue before sounding ya mouth off
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

As IF stated, in some extreme cases, I just don't think it's a great look to see B's have high success and A's very low. I thought judging by some of your performances that you guys were far better than where you finished up. I've seen it in previous years at my own club where players find excuses to make themselves available only for the B's.

Whether I need to get a clue before sounding my mouth off or not, it doesn't look good from the outside looking in, sorry if you found it offensive, it's just rare.
