Good win by the GGFC D grade on Saturday, very similar to last years last game where we knocked them off for the first time in the last game of the year. The boys were very happy with the win and are looking forward to finals action! Good work to Stiko in getting them in in his first year as coach!

i noticed for some odd reason all wingfields score in this game was erased which in turn gave paralowie a 93 point win instead of a loss.if they played unreg players they would have lost the whole score for the year. must have been something else

Very interesting. I see that means that GG now miss out on the double chance. Heccies would be a chance to knock GG off i would've thought as i see they did earlier in the season.

Considering we knocked you blokes off last week Mr B I reckon Heccies wont be much chance... ;)
Please don't come back and bite me !!!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Anyone going to any of the games on Sunday? I'll probably at Salisbury for Gullies v Paralowie. Dutchy?

No worries.
Apparently there are junior games on the Sunday and they won't be finishing until later in the day, so the oval won't be free until 3pm.

Ah yep, think the Under 14s are there at 1.20. Should give the blokes playing an extra 45 minutes to rid themselves of a possible hangover though.

Paralowie beat Golden Grove in the Prelim final to take on Tea Tree Gully in the grand final next week. Any truth that a Paralowie player had a heart attack during the game on the weekend? If true, then that is shocking news and all the best to him in his recovery.

Hope the guy recovers well carey. Never good to hear of people getting injured during a game but serious things like that bring it all back into perspective. I hear our trainers helped out a fair bit so that's good to hear as well. Anyway, hope it all pans out OK for the bloke. Maybe you blokes winning the GF can for him ?? ;)
