I was told by a little birdy that you boys pulled the pin last week cause a 10 goal loss was better than the 25 you likely would have lost by had you taken the field.

I find that hard to believe, it's C-grade footy, surely everyone just wants a kick and a catch.

Good game up at harpers field on Saturday, Golden grove playing a different forward entry to what other teams have done. More of a chip to 35-40 out and then look in board once back off of their mark. Caught some of our guys sleeping. They proceeded to hit targets throughout the day and continued to hit targets when conditions became sloppy. THey had some good half backs and three big forwards, good quick and skillful wingmen and surprisingly we managed to play around the mud patch for most of the game. Well done to the GG lads on a great win and great to see two fair and even umpires as opposed to early in the game that followed us.

I thought if I stop and prop to pick the ball up someone has to barrel into my back and I could do with an easy kick or a few. As it was, I ended up with a mouth full of mud and a rock solid, Black & Brown gurnsey!

I was staying up the raod so popped dwon to have a look. The umpire was utterly disgraceful and may have lead to the little fracka at 3/4 time. More interesting though was when Broadies asked for a player count and Trinity had 19 men on the ground. The count was done wrong by the umpires as they didn't follow procedures. Also the match day staff are a little unprofessional. Wouldn't happen in the league I play in, umpires are mutual all game day officials are mutual and just run lots better.

I think we need to start settling our side a bit more over the coming weeks, there was probably 5-6 players missing from our side that would be starting 18 on the weekend
