ah really? I heard we requested a morning game, but they wanted it shifted to 5pm - can anyone from the Kookas confirm??? Guess we will find out soon enough anyway

It's listed at 5pm on the SAAFL site...

Btw people that judge finals games performance during the year have no idea.Completely different standard and the team that wants it most normaly wins.We are up against it out there against the home support.Never the less I am amped, love the ground and it has a great atmosphere.Just hope it does not rain.

You're right LK. We beat West Croydon 3 times during the year by more than 10 goals each time (including 2nd Semi) and lost the GF cos we weren't switched on game day. Anything can happen in finals and that's why they're so much fun to play in. Sympathy must go out to those who's season has already finished. They're missing out on something special.

Should be a big crowd at Valley Road on Saturday. I know all the A and B grade players will be hanging around to cheer on the C grade. BTW, weather forecast looks good for the weekend

I think it will be a cracker of a game - like ya said - under lights - massive crowd - can't wait for it. Hopefully the A's and B's both get up so its a great atmosphere up there afterwards - and I encourage the Kenilworth boys to stick around after the game, win or lose to have a few beers with us.

That was a tough game Saturday night, good finals footy, not an easy kick all game.Everyone including myself would be very sore.Fair to say if Andre Kulpe played we were in fair strife. Can see how you boys beat Golden Grove, definatly have improved from what I have seen.I think were a big chance this week against Heccies,i'd like to play them on a small ground and see how they like the tough stuff............

Was a good game, just a pity about the result - just let you get off to a start, which turned out to be the difference. Was great conditions for it though, and was a good atmosphere - and played in good spirits. Good luck this week!

Actually, if bookies were betting like that, & all the money was on the fav's, it would be a great result!
Really surprised with Hope Valley's loss though.

Next week:
Flinders Uni $1.65
Golden Grove $2.20

Hectorville $1.50
Kenilworth $2.50

to win the premiership..

crabs 1.20
gg 3.50
heccies 7.50
kfc 10.00

more realistic..gg clearly second best team but not near the crabs..heccies beaten kfc both times this year
