Yep, it will come out eventually.
It will come out when the relevant parties wish to speak about it.

I'm sure you've got enough contacts through this website that you can PM and ask what happens if you REALLLY want to know, it doesn't have to be broadcast on here does it?

Even though their B's got smashed again on weekend and in ordinary conditions, game was played in good spirits and seemed like good bunch of blokes, although Crab's A's coaching staff got a bit mouthy towards opposition players when a bit of push and shove started between both sides that was really nothing.

Why can't it come out on here? It won't affect any appeals he may have planned. People talk about sensitive issues all the time on here, just because the bloke posts on here shouldn't mean we can't talk about it.

As we've said - the Roo boys aren't going to talk about it.
So unless there's someone else who actually knows what happened, who's going to comment?

Any of you Paralowie blokes know how to spell Henry Brezinski's surname?

Maybe other people do know but have been scared off because of everyone saying "don't comment".

Maybe they're respecting the situation is a difficult one.
No one really knows what happened anyway - apart from Lowie and Uni boys.

Difficult situations have been talked about on here before. I was told posts on here were used as evidence in the tribunal hearing and if this is true(which I doubt), it is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard.

Can the Paralowie boys confirm if this is true? If it is I will march into Tynte St. and tell them what I think(or maybe just send an e-mail).

Posts from here can not be used in a tribunal unless they are provided as evidence by the author of the post, however then it would no longer be the post being provided as evidence, it would be the statement of the person, and that would have to be factual and as an eyewitness, otherwise it is hearsay and have no relevance on the case and would not be of fact and would be disregarded by the tribunal, or should be anyway.

However authors of posts should at all times be aware of defamation laws and rules in relation to posts and post accordingly.

If there are appeals occuring or legal action as a result of the incident then it would be wrong to discuss the issue further, however if it is simply about the process and outcomes and how they reached their tribunal decision then that should be ok to discuss.

The Real Number 3,

If this was the case that posts were used as evidence at the tribunal, this would be of concern, as the posts here are purely speculation and could not be taken as statements, the rules of evidence provide for this.

However if the Amateur League decided to invesitgate the posts and got statements from people who posted here, who actually had factual evidence to provide, and the statements were used and not the actual posts, then this would be normal practice.

The posts themselves could not be used as they are hearsay and speculative and in general terms are of opinion only.

You would hope that the rules of evidence and natural justice would be followed in all cases.

Sounding like a lawyer Demon, but what you are saying is making a sh*tload of sense, which if you are a lawyer would be a first

Not a lawyer ash man, just need to know these things for my job.

We can all just hope that there is a fair process in place for players to be able to have a fair hearing and pure speculation and hearsay do nothing to help in situations such as these.

We need to respect the wishes of the parties to consider their options and they should be afforded the respect and space and not to post here about the incident further until it has been sorted out.

I would hope that we all appreciate the need for this and to ensure there is no speculation or hearsay that could cloud the issue.

Remember the old adage, walk a mile in another persons shoes, place yourself in Shauns shoes and appreciate how you would feel and how difficult this all is for everyone and the last thing that anyone would want to see is the issue clouded by posts here speculating about it , so lets afford them all the space and respect they deserve and lets get back to talking about what we are all passionate about and that is the great game of footy, so lets get back to talking about footy after all finals are just around the corner.

Nothing more can be said to contribute to the thread of this incident so nothing can be achieved by discussing it anymore.

Over to the rest of the forum members for some positive contributions about this great game.
