No idea what the final score was but Payneham/Norwood were 70 points in front of Broadies early in the last 1/4, Payneham played great team and disciplined footy all day and would have beaten some Div 1 sides. They wont lose another game this season and will rightfully fill a spot in Div 1 next year. As for Broadview, outgunned all day, had a big day off and will need significant improvement to win next week, let alone any finals

i thought the purpose of this forum was to get the perspective of the posters clubs. maybe i'm just naive.
and his other point being that uni were good but not anymore. which is true i think. judging by the last couple of years anyway. not saying they won't be a force in the future, but for now are struggling. which is a fair point to make.
and Kilburn? don't even go there. a club that's been on the slide for the last 5 years. ha!

No respect for history and great clubs will be your undoing dick nose. Respect what other clubs like Uni have done for
a 100+ years and Broadies and Kilburn for longer than PNU and Eatern Park etc, etc have even been in founded.

Morons that dont respect history and great clubs will always come unstuck. All the Johnny come lateleys will come a cropper

Champions and Chumps like you will always be chumps. Some clubs like Eastern Park deserve all the good things written about
them as they have overcome adversity in so many ways but a lot like PNU and others are just snotty nosed little boys. Great place to play there at Payneham (as long as you are losing) or you will get belted with cans from the balcony and other crap and abuse
from the same balcony. Fantastic front runners out there at PNU. Front runners have never succeeded at D1 anyways. Hope you get there and then get you arse kicked and then you will understand. Its been so long since you have been there you have forgotten which is sad, sad, sad you snotty little club

Havent Payneham been around for a 100 years as well.I have plenty of respect for every club all the way down to div 7 and their history.I have no intention of responding to your attack on the club as everyones entitled to an opinion.I think yours is a bit harsh but a lotta people to like to write things to envoke a reaction on these forums. The only thing ill say is after the game is done our club always welcomes all opposition supporters, players etc to our bar for a beer and a chat.I had a beer with my opponents yesterday and i know we welcomed Broadview and they welcomed us into their club.

Well done to Eastern Park yesterday. Was a good game and the better team won in the end, although you could say Flinders failed to capitalise on opportunities in front of goal in the last term. Also the way the players carried on after the game towards our supporters and members tent was disgracefull...obviously still a bit bitter from last years GF result.

No you dont have respect for clubs as you would have got your facts correct again. PNU had to amalgamate from Payneham to remain viable and before that you only came into the SAAFL in 1938. Nine changes in uniform and only 2 Premierships under the old Payneham banner before moving to SAFA in 1980 - try getting close to Uni or Kenilworth or Broadview or Kilburn and many, many others before giving us your history lesson as to why Payneham are so good. Only 2 - A2 Flags as well during their history. One of the least successful clubs ever I would think for someone opening their mouth so often about how good you are!!!! - I think that Wrist is getting plenty of action

The name Riverside seems to be missing from your list - wonder why??

Having played for one of them clubs (& against the other 2), no-one knows what the future holds. Back then Henley were one of the Johnny come lately's - but I think they're doing ok at the moment.
