Yeah makes you wonder. Would be a bit of a hollow victory to top the goal kicking with those sorts of rumours around.

Bullshit! Why would that happen? Wouldn't those who kicked the goals be pissed off?

Team managers in charge of recording goals can make mistakes, but definitely would not be going out of their way to fudge the stats. As has been mentioned, teammates wouldn't put up with it anyway. But smitties goalkicking looking even more dangerous now with A.Matthews back from injury.

matthews is a very good player. He is hard to find a match up on as he is a very quick and wins alot of the ground ball as well as playing like a big marking forward even though he is not big!!!

That's my first thought.

Adam Moss loves a goal and is very competitive, he wouldn't stand for that crap.

Yeah they put him down for 16 goals in the last game so he managed to win by 1

Im going to chime in here and say the same happened against Mawson Lakes. The score sheet said 5 but I was in the defence and he kicked only 2 - 3 goals for the game at the most.

He doesn't have a "$50 per goal" type deal does he?

He kicked 1 goal in the first half against fitzroy. After half time he spent maybe five minutes on the ground then didn't reappear. Think what you want but that is fact.

Have heard today Ingle Farm already actively on the prowl for recruits for next season

Some big fish on a growing wish list I'm hearing..

Is it too early to be thinking about next year though?

Never too early.. might target Old_mate21 or raid Kilburn 8) :D

Nah, it's more a look at players possibly returning to the club who have left over recent seasons, and of course keeping the current playing group together.. nothing special, and something every other club will be doing in coming months, just want to get the ball rolling early in our strategic planning for the coming seasons.
