1st rule of football never believe a defender

well he did not play for half of the third quarter and the whole last quarter. kicked 2 in the first quarter, none against me in the second or third..........

Bullshit! Why would that happen? Wouldn't those who kicked the goals be pissed off?

:-? Hmm.. I have a feeling similar sort of accusations around Ashby have come up before - when he was at Gumeracha.. :-?

Yeah they put him down for 16 goals in the last game so he managed to win by 1

Arch44 this did happen. HFL gave Gumeracha a second chance to put down what he really kicked, and Dylan 'The Mish' Bingos from Kersbook was awarded his Goal Kicking Trophy. Ashby second

The name is old_mate because I am old. In terms of recruiting better to be on the front foot and asking questions of players now. The salary cap will have everyone thinking about next year now.

Unless the Farmers have won X Lotto there won't be any extravagant payments,if any.
Maybe concentrate on what they have and if some oldies wanna come back and lead then open the arms up.

I doubt that the salary cap would effect anyone in this Div

Wouldn't be too many cases of the new salary cap being breached from div 4 down I would have thought. Obviously there is some cases here and there but it's very far from rife....

I mean clubs in this div will have more of a chance recruiting blokes into the div when the salary cap is brought in.

Nah, only because performing, or even playing in the game, is rarely a pre-requisite to make that side.. ;)

Ok thought try something a little different.. seemed a good idea at the time, but has since proven quite difficult haha! Looking for some input here from the specialists.. trying to work out a D6R team of the year

Only looked at players who had played 6 or more games - too much quality of players below that many games, makes it too hard! I am largely going off memory of what I've seen this season, which is not great in my old age, so feel free to correct where needed..

Still need a back pocket too haha

F: Dwayne Nisbet (Smithfield), Matthew Lehman (Brahma Lodge), Shawn Anderson (West Croydon)
HF: Brian Rudgley (Brahma Lodge), Sam Shaw (Smithfield), Tim Viner-Smith (Trinity OS)
C: Nathan Wright (Trinity OS), Blake Foody (Lockleys), Adam Gully (Ingle Farm)
HB: Michael Dimuccio (Trinity OS), Dom Ascoli (Lockleys), Ben Bradford (Lockleys)
B: Owen Foureur (Lockleys), Tony Millwood (Smithfield), ???

Ruck: Ryan Jarman (Smithfield), Alex McAskill (Fitzroy), Ryan Palmer (Trinity OS)?

Int: Michael Nelson (Trinity OS), Curtis Smith (Brahma Lodge), Nathan Coulson (Smithfield)

Coaching Staff: human_torpedo, Arch44, Diknbones

Runner: Zartan
