Sounds to me a bit like the 2x Para Hills lads are telling you they got offered that sort of coin to boost their egos and make themselves sound/feel like superstars

As PK12 wrote, if Mitcham had that sort of money to splash, why would they waste in on 2x divvy 3 players

The club might not have offered money but maybe and outsider has.the 2 players have been approached by mitcham as they have been for a few years now.

So was their any ruckus following the incident or what? Hard to think the Portland buys wouldn't have sparked up after it?

Plenty of players around the area bit of pushing and puffing of the chest but nothing over the top, the boys were smart enough to realise that with less than 10 mins to go before being in a prelim final the last thing we needed was to be missing games, sittuation could of quite easily got out of hand after seeing what had happened, a few of the Pooraka blokes also helped defuse the sittuation which was good to see

As a spectator of the game no 10s incident was purely not going for the ball getting the ball. The injury was not from the hip and shoulder at all head injuries and hip and shoulders don't really go hand I'n hand booting a player I'n the face more like it not only a reportable offense but a criminal offense....... Other pooraka players seem to be quit respectable but no 10 not the type of bloke u want around ire club weak ass pi$$

I Agree with everything, but I know what i did see and what i didn't see, it was a hip and shoulder, the chappy was wheezing and moaning a fair bit so perhaps he was badly winded, not knocked out, I can't be sure, but i saw that incident, but not anything alleged to have happened afterwards.

Saw Marshall got second best on the weekend and Muscara kicked 4. Good to see the old fellas still playing good footy. Judging by the scores, it was a high scoring game between Seaton and PH

if the rumblings are true about there little liquor issue surely they wouldnt have that kind of loose cash hanging around, i highly doubt he will be suiting up this week

It wouldn't surprise me at all, they payed a big clearance fee for a little bloke from the country so they'll definately pay for Coard, the thing is with Coard he's worth it.

I would think every club in the metro area should be on their toes as they said they want to make sure footy clubs are doing the right thing.

Checking that responsible persons are there, underage drinkers, correct signage is displayed, drinking outside the defined areas, etc, etc.

The game was very free flowing which would suggest why it was such a highscoring game.
Much like most our season we were very good in patches but unable to keep the intensity up for a whole 4 quarters. We kicked 7 unanswered goals at one stage and were playing like a team vying for a finals spot. But in the end, Seaton exposed our weaknesses and now we are heading to Div 4...
The clearance work of Marshall and Thachy was a joy to watch, both were outstanding all game and gave their forward lines first look which normally resulted in a shot on goal.
Look forward to seeing how the finals series ends up and good luck to the 5 teams remaining.
Its been a tough year for Bangers and the coaching staff and we will do our best to keep the list we have together and enjoy some success in 2012.
Our players will no doubt attract offers from rival clubs in the off season as all players do and we can only hope they choose club loyalty over the almighty $$$
