That was as bad if not worse than anything that happened at the Parade in 2006. Haven't seen anything like it for a long time.

Bit harsh to be labelling that as a filthy act. Have seen a photo that was taken at the moment of impact and no elbow was raised, tucked the arm and was a good bump in regards to the technique. True it didn't look good, prob wasn't helped that he was hit by another player at the same time.Unfortunate for it to happen hope the lad is ok.

Not sure if discipline really played that big a part in the contest. Lutheran were simply better and used the football better and deserved the win.

As for the main game, Hills just weren't accountable enough, allowed Lutheran too much space and time to hit targets going forward. Too many easy goals and little mistakes cost them. Losing their number one ruckman in the first quarter didn't help, forcing both Hanson and Cree to spend time in the ruck. Game pretty much over at quarter time with Hills having to try and play catch up.

Gee Barry disagree. I thought Para Hills were right in it. For me one of the turning points was Hanson and the Lutheran water woman colliding. Had that been correctly adjudicated Hanson would've had a shot on goal and I think leveled the scores or thereabouts. Instead an argument ensued and a 25m against went down the other end and Lutheran scored I think. Was a huge moment.

Anspach played well for Luthies as did Hickey and Schoey. Buss, Lynt and I think one of the Thachs (need to use the first give though) were my pick for Hills.

Congratulations to Luthies and commiserations to all at Para Hills.

Hills did well to get back into the game after Lutherans started out strong. It could of gotten ugly pretty quick. I just felt they never lost control of the game. Hills had their moments, just not enough of them. The smother and goal in transition to stop a mini fight back just before the half time siren was important for Lutherans.
