My latest round 1 picks....

Blacks, Not enough height in the Kenilworth forward line,no recognised goal kicker= No goals
Westmister easily
Plympton 7 goals plus
Pultney by a cool 10 goals
Rosewater over Smithfield just in the match of the round

Good Luck to all. Go you mighty Kookaburras.

millikan back, 2 x rugaris added, rob parish, demasi, spry, howe stayed on and 24 named, must be some "concerns" on a few..no wonder the blacks have been low key, never trust the quiet ones eh? :D

shld only be 23. a couple may not be ready. m rugari won't play.
marando and stuart both gone to sfl. 7 returning from 2006/2007 and 18 new lads.
numbers are the best we've had but there is alot of work to do to keep up with plympton, r'water. s'field, wos by the sounds of it, pulteney with sleepy and sarge, and never underestimate the rest of this division.
i think it will be more even than last year with 7-8 trying to fit into the top 5.
good luck and let the games begin.

I predict Rosewater will make the GF this season!!!

I'm basing this on the previous 4 years!!!

2005: Round 1 Adelaide Lutheran v Smithfield. Adelaide Lutheran lost GF to Ingle Farm in 2005
2006: Round 1 Smithfield v Mitcham. Mitcham lost GF to Para Hills in 2006
2007: Round 1 Fitzroy v Smithfield. Fitzroy won GF def Adel Lutheran in 2007
2008: Round 1 Smithfield v Golden Grove. Golden Grove won GF def Greenacres in 2008.
2009: Round 1 Rosewater v Smithfield. ???

Always seems to be a tough Round 1 assignment for us!!!

Good luck to all today!!!

Blacks over Kenilworth at St.Marys by 2-3 goals in a top shelf game of footy. Lead changed in the 3rd and could have gone either way at 3/4 time but it was'nt meant to be. I'd like to think we gave the hounds a real crack,i'll be biarst and say we were stiff in the end but credit to the Blacks for holding on....

dont think Smithfield should be called sh*tfield. They arent a sh*t side or club. Have been around the mark for a few years now, they arent scrapping at the bottom of the table. Played Smithfield 3 times whilst playing at plympton in 07, ALL games were decent games. the first was at smithfield and they destroyed us. But then we returned the favour at the return match at plympton, and then we beat them at their ground in the semi. But they are a decent team.

As for hope valley beating my former club, well done. Looks like you guys might do well. As for plympton im sure that wont hurt them and they will be there for the whole season.
