On this.. what would his conversion rate be this year? Both times I've watched him he's hardly seemed to miss (obviously I didn't see the shots he missed on the weekend! )

Yeah, I remember his missing 1 at most. He just kept slotting them!

Not saying he didn't, but just remembered his conversion rate being high

He kicked 5.4 on the weekend.. Generally a fairly reliable shot on goal, misses the odd one you would notch him down for but overall a pretty good kick..

As the saying goes 'A champion team will always beat a team of champions'..

The saying also goes "The team of the week selections are as reliable as the word of a Politician'

Take what ever saying you think fits your situation and run with it

He missed three set shots. He also kicked 4 of his 5 goals from frees! Glouftsis did start on him before Woods moved to him in 2nd quarter.

The less said about the umpiring performance by the umpires the better.. Both sides copped baffling decisions

I dont think Cotter kicked all his goals from frees, at least his exact goals get put into sporting pulse unlike certain other goal kickers from other clubs.

Cotter had an off day with accuracy but to say all goals come from frees is bit rich when he got a couple frees for holding and a couple for down the ground but he missed a few of those which was dissapointing when it is like a free chance to get a goal on the scoreboard.

Worst Umpiring i had seen in div 6 this year, that is both ways both teams got the brunt of shit decisions and soft decisions thru the game but at least our coaching staff dont whinge to the umpires at half time and let umpires know how many for and against have been paid in the first half. My understanding is Captains are the only players who can approach the umpires during a game.

All i remember being said was how bad it looked for a certain umpire to be walking off with the Trinity players having a laugh at half time while the other umpire walked off by himself, and then apologised to us for the other umpires performance. For your information BP wizard the free kick count was 20-3 your way from one umpire in the first half and all in your forward half, so yes something may have been mentioned about that Thats footy, we still won so not too bothered about it.......Good luck in the finals.

Haha - why would your coaching staff whinge when you're +17 in the free kick count?

Like the way you had a little swipe at Smithfield and Ashby about the goal kicking record.. Putting some unneeded attention on TOS and adding some extra motivation to Smithfield.. Wouldn't want to play them in the finals - if you get far enough to meet them.

still in shock at the wcfc v iffc scoreline..what the hell happened?

thanks to dave and his boys for a great hit out on saturday..lakers match up well against us and they worked hard for 4 quarters and showed great fight and heart..i think they will be a a strong team next year if they can add to what they have got..definite improvers in the second half of the season..also the deck was in pristine condition..well done..

Judging by what West Croydon did to Ingle Farm on the weekend, I have genuine fears for what they will do to Brahma this week.. Could get ugly

Top 5 in both grades now locked away after the weekend, it's difficult to see the order of that 5 changing - and even if they do it wont affect the programming I wouldn't think.. at this stage week 1 of the finals looks like it will be:

D6 - Lockleys v West Croydon (14:15 @ Lockleys Oval)
D6R - Ingle Farm v Lockleys (12:15 @ Lockleys Oval)

D6 - Trinity OS v Fitzroy (14:15 @ Trinity Gawler Campus)
D6R - Brahma Lodge v Trinity OS (12:15 @ Trinity Gawler Campus)

D6 - Smithfield (Bye)
D6R - Smithfield (Bye)
