04PC, watch out for our bandido from Mexico, Esteban Vihaio, he's on the lookout for "childish statements'.
He has been given authority by the Mexican Government to verbally chastize any poster he wishes for whatever reason. I copped one and I don't think I'll ever recover from it.

Please note a couple of his earlier quotes:

Esteban Vihaio: I must warn you, young lady, I am susceptible to flattery
Esteban Vihaio: Bill shot you in the head, no?
The Bride: Yes.
Esteban Vihaio: I would've been much nicer. I would've just cut your face

Esteban Vihaio: If I had met you forty years ago, you would have been my Number One lady.
The Bride: Well, I'm flattered.
Esteban Vihaio: You goddamn better well be.

Now that's my kind of man!

lol.... first post was 11:36, second was 3:44.... you've stewed on this...
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

All in good fun, sometimes we overstep the mark but at the end of the game, shake hands and enjoy a beer.

nuggety goodness, i still notice you only have 37 reg players, on your active list. this isnt including your retirees and players that havent played for years still on there and the ones that have left....are you going to pick up at least 20 more players to be able to field a b grade... or is it that you guys wanted to stay in div 7 regardless of the number of players you have just to play A grade in div 7 instead of c1/c2 ....with no intention of having a B grade......i think the fines are prob similar for withdrawal or forfeits....this is just an observation a few of us have noticed....any word

GTB, i have no idea about the website and registered players etc. all i know is that we have a list of 50-60 players at the moment who have said they would play. We have every intention of fielding two sides and as long as the blokes come out we will be fine... we have recruited fairly well and some of the 'retired' players i think will stick around. from what i saw at training we've lost about 5 or 6 from our premiership side, but word is 1 or 2 may be coming back if a certain player sticks at it this year... i'll keep that under wraps until it all unfolds.

end of the day we will have two sides and if we don't i expect a barrage from everyone who reads this.... only because i have the balls to put my neck on the line!

i wish there were more blokes encouraging us and supporting us in our quest for two sides. as has been said before, no-one wants a footy club to fold!

the posts haven't gone up yet, i'm not sure if we have to do it or the council to be honest, my guess is the council so i dunno how long it'll be.

Well I dont know much about Ovies except for watching a bit of their GF win last year at Hope Valley after our game, but I hope they get 2 sides and have a good year just to stick it up all the knockers.... I'm all for a bit of banter and slagging for a bit of fun but they cop a helluva lot on here (whether that is justified or not I have NFI...) so I hope they do well just to stick it up all of you negative bastards on here !! :) I'm on the Cats !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Hearing a few whispers that a dual Ovingham club champion has signed to play with Kilburn this year.Bloody big loss for the Cats but I'd say the biggest loss will be the guys that follow.I know a few senior people around Ovingham have been telling porkies about another gun player coming out for another kick this year, when that player has said nothing of the sort. And given that there were only 15 or so on the track this week,it's hard to see where these 50 or 60 players are going to come from.I honestly hope the club can pull things together and have some success as my youngest brother is keen to have a kick with one of his good mates out there, but I have to say, things don't seem to be looking good.

Just looked through the SAAFL yearbook at the Premiership photos and came aross the Ovingham photo.
Now do they really look like a team of 'finely tuned' athletes or something out of Hogans Heroes?

Those finely tuned athletes came from 20 points down at 3qtr time against an undefeated side in the gf.More to footy than just running around
