which club you with?

the scum will have some good players, some who haven't played before and some who are in between. they're a good bunch of blokes even if i say so myself as a blacks coach.
i'd expect them to be around the mark for the finals.

ah, old honda sibbick.
the scum is where those overseas students wanting to play footer start and those old players go to pasture.

yep, the scum song has many guises - and is a cack but one that is not really kiddy friendly.

We will have a different side than last year, new coach, we will be young and move the ball quickly, which is what we did so well last year. Really just pumped for round 1 this week

Drove past your oval today human torpedo, looks an absolute treat! Never played there before myself. Looking foward to it. Hopefully a bit of rain slows down your young bucks and brings them down to our speed!! ;)

Yep your right Demon, oval is in geat shape. Looking forward to starting off tomorrow. How are you boys looking?? I see a couple of cricketers pulling on the boots!!! Good to see, it's a bit like us. We are looking very good some very handy boys playing D grade. We will have to have a beer after the game, look for number 15!!!! :D

We're looking good. A few lates scratchings which didn't help, but we've 25 blokes ready to have a crack. I'll be in the clubrooms after the game for a quick beer before nicking off to watch the A grade so I'll say hello then.

Here's my tips for Round 1:

Flinders Park v Hope Valley
Plympton v Elizabeth
Adelaide Uni v Brahma Lodge
Hectorville v Adel Lutheran

In response to our oval, training on it last night was an absolute treat, it is looking mint! Hopefully this rain doesnt do to much damage to it, but I think it should be perfect under foot tomorrow hopefully.

In response to 'The Scum' Uni side, playing against them last year, they were a top bunch of blokes, a bit up and down due to different numbers each week, but the core players are gre4at lads and a good laugh, on and off the field. If they keep a similar side together they should push top 3, they only just missed finals last year, and they touched us up in round 16 comfortably.

All the best for all C5 tomorrow, lookin forward to seeing the results sunday morning nursing a very sore body after round 1's festivities!

thats interesting to hear about 'The Scum' Uni side. How do they compare to the C4 side that they have, or had last year?

They're below in ability and are picked after the c4 side (aka the bastards). Generally older as well but there's been quite an influx of players at the blacks which will take awhile to sort itself out.

No probs, just trying to measure ourselves a bit based on the results of our games in C4 last year against Uni, compared to where HT rates them to finish this year. Guess we'll find out pretty soon! Good luck to all this week!
