Can still get permits but I'm reasonably certain permit players can't play finals.

How did that go today? Just for future reference to everyone on here to also avoid looking like total idiots - maybe everyone should just shut their mouth until it has actually happened? Everyone who has posted has been wrong, so let's just put this issue to bed for now. As far as I am concerned Fitzroy still have their gun full forward unless he is injured.

So might be smart to advise the A grade players of Fitzroy if that's where your from to stop passing on the information.

Gerardis court appearance post poned two weeks until the 19th July.

Was supposed to be yesterday. Will serve some time, but fortunately for Fitzroy they have another gun waiting in the wings ready to step in for finals if they make it..

Or might be smart to ignore any information.

Yeah I heard they have plenty of people with their bags packed ready to join. They are just lining up.

Doesn't Fitzroy have a sign up on its club rooms saying.
"Fitzroy the family club" I'd be staggered if the junior committee was happy with the said player and offences being around a "Family club"

Whats your beef with Fitzroy Oldman? Continuous finger pointing at us across the season yet game day twice this season nothing to say other than thanks and good luck!
I'm sensing a hidden agenda some where.

I thought Fitzroy were without their gun forward last week
Burchy did a great job on him and he would have been able to count his touches on one hand I reckon.. No one bothered manning up on Bourkey though, moves well for an old fella and just a lazy 7. Missed some easy ones in the first too so could have easily had 10 I reckon

Everyone makes mistakes and stuffs up, everyone deserves a chance too - what he did a few years ago he will have to deal with the consequences, but unless he's done anything wrong by Fitzroy, which he hasn't, then what is the issue?

It's not like (to my knowledge lol), he's running around selling drugs or promoting criminal activity inside the club - he just rocks up to train and play footy and that's it.

By far and away the most improved player over recent seasons. Great to see him playing so well, getting a crack in the A grade and locking down a spot. Top bloke too.

Yeh definitely, played 2's all of last year (might have got a gig in the A's at some stage, can't remember) and started in the 2's this year and once he got his opportunity he hasn't looked back. Is a rather quiet fella but is a top lad and deserves his spot down there for sure.

You're forgetting about their Super C grade and their U18's side ;)

If their A grade makes the finals, they should be doing all they can to convince Sam Haniford to play A's. The bloke is a gun. We simply couldn't stop him on the weekend in the C grade and he was almost the difference. I know he's put the C grade side together, but gee whiz he'd be handy in the A's in September..

Exactly.

Bloke is a beast. Expect him to line up next weekend in the A grade v Ingle Farm with their C grade having the bye.

Luke Haniford, Nathan Rayner and Tyson Goodes are others who could be handy inclusions later in the season if their C grade season goes sour.

Random question.. player signs at a club from say SANFL and is worth 4pts, then plays a full season, maybe couple weeks of finals, following season is 3pts, and plays first portion of the next year.. decides he wants to go elsewhere and leaves.. Changes his mind before the clearance cut off and returns to the club - is that player still 3pts or because they've played 25 games are they zero points on returning?

Thanks! So if he left end of June and returned the following season, he'd be zero points instead of 2 then?
