Good to hear your point of view TT, i know although there will be players retiring at the end of the year, i think the young kids and the pulling power of a squire or wintle as coaching staff will bring people to the club, i would think a few Div 1 clubs would be liking to have us back in Div 1 for the old rivalries but also our club and oval facilties. 1 more game to go though, hopfeully EP and Payneham belt the living daylights out of each other to get to us!

As for the game itself on the weekend, i bet the boys were sore after that one. Tough hard footy from both teams, terrible conditions both weather and oval (can't believe it was that wet and sloppy after only a couple days rain), PNU had a run on in the last quarter but the boys held on with some desperate work around the packs. Both teams missed some easy shots, skills were a bit scratchy too but finals pressure and the conditions had an impact on that.

You'd think they'd try and get the investigation done before the div 2 medal count as taylor will certainly get games but may have already won the medal. will the league take the medal off him when he is found guilty?

And if found guilty, he has played the 3 games (including this week). If EP make the Gf he would then play that too, then possibly get rubbed out for say 4 weeks?? Anyone else think this is bloody stupid. No matter what player or team involved!!!!!

an absolute joke i think. why don't they just go out and belt all the pnu boys this week behind the play, with the comfort of knowing that if they win, they will still be able to play the week after in the GF.

Stimpy, that's not a real smart thing to do!

This is an investigation following a Club submitted letter to the SAAFL, not a game day umpires report. You'd be a pretty smart lot if you went out belting people in a game, you'd be hit not only with reports but RED CARDED off the ground and out of the game.
Take it from me, playing any game short of players is costly, whether it's 1,2 or more players.
Stupid suggestion to say the least! ;)
