fwiw I think rosewater will be a very different team this week with some pressure lifted off of them..sounds strange but that's just my gut feeling..we also rate wosfc highly..any team with 4 guys in it who have played sanfl is going to have a lot of class and experience..last time they met rfc won easily..

Not to mention their coach is a dual premiership player at Langhorne Creek. They will beat rossies and play you next week, so get ready for their 18 man zone, lol.

Not certain but it could be an option I reckon.

Don't forget, they haven't lost any points yet.

I'm just guessing though.

CUFC have been giving 3 options that the committee are going to meet and vote on.

That's all I'll say for now.

Just a couple of facts in your post, saying we had won 14 straight when we only won 13 games for the year.. And that there was 2 games remaining and we were entering the last round.. Means little but I just like the facts correct when people seem to pot my club mate, thats all..

I will say that I was blown away with CLG performance on Saturday.. Hard running side and move the ball superbly, absolutely smashed us.. Scott-Collings is a freak, and Harvey just gets the job done.. As silly as it sounds i think Matty Lyons was serviceable on him, but when the ball comes in about 70 odd times its near on impossible to stop a player like him..

Look forward to 2 home finals v Westminster this week.. Bring on finals footy

Facts are you were undefeated until the last 3 minor round games i thought, i may be wrong.
Ain't there 18 minor round games?
I was only stating anyway that their was huge pressure on them coming into the top of the table clash & yes they got a pasting.
Can they recover? Good side find a way but i have a big ? on Rosewater finding it, hope they do but time will tell.

C'mon zed, gimme a break. The league would really be looking forward to the Units playing Smithfield in Div 7 2014. NOT. Half Smithfields boys are defecters from CU and vice versa. I believe that carey will sort it out in pre-season and the Units will become a "unit" again. Regardless of the Leagues sanctions.

And morell, get off the forum, you are showing your nerves for the upcoming finals.
haha, nah not nervous at all mate. Never get nervous when I am playing oddly enough. Definitely nothing like last year before the GF - I was a wreck!

All the best mate, although I have been vocally critical of the goings on, I do hope you can resolve it and get the best out of a crappy situation.

i dont think it was a striking charge for S Garner.. (10 games for abuse) im also led to believe 3 other yellow cards on the day were withdrawn after Westminster F C complained about the UMPIRE.. i cant defend his record.. but 10 for abuse seems over the top, especially if the other team has complained about the ump and had yellows thrown out ..IMO

We will all have to imagine what the abuse must have been like then to warrant 10 games.

Good luck to all 5 teams participating in this years finals series. We'd give anything we could be there with you but unfortunately the way the season ended the way it did in Round 18 just summed up our year this year and it just wasn't meant to be for us but that's life/footy and you move on.

While I'm here my tip for the medal is out of Tom Easton from Westminster or Arren Harvey from CLG, you can't kick that many goals and not get noticed. Trav Uern from us will get a few votes but don't think we won enough games.

why imagine it ? why not except that it may have been a bit over the top... imagine how bad the umpiring must have been to warrant 3 yellow cards to be dissmissed ? also i wonder what the yellows were actually for ? abuse maybe ? surely a striking charge wouldnt have been withdrawn ..

I believe there was only one yellow withdrawn which was for contact made to an umpire. The ump and our bloke were both watching the ball and tripped over each other. Your coach, team manager and the other umpire all agreed it was ridiculous and not worthy of a yellow. The red was for threatening language more so than abuse I think.

So Adelaide Uni to stay in D6? Or 3 sides get relegated this year (with TTG already gone...)?

One would assume its 1 out (CU) and 2 in from D7.
