Hopefully we can give Iggies a real shake this week.

that is going to be a good game next week salisbury vs iggies they have a wingman that is absolutly lightning. i think we are going to have a race at half time in this years grand final with flannigan from mitcham, cibich from smosh and this bloke from iggies. and pag if you get a chance belt the living suitcase out of number 21 next week, midget, stocky big mouth on behalf of all the portland players, supporters and coaching staff. OBVIOUSLY WITHIN THE RULEs

Hahaha
21 was horrible for iggies on the weekend, the crowd definately let him know aswell!
it surprises me he was mouthy on the field as he worst on ground!
I dont think pag will have a chance to do that, from his preformance on the weekend, could find 21 in the magoos!

didn't number 21 use to play for a league club. What was the ground like at railways (even thou we are lucky enough not to play there this year

Think he did Schimma. Boys are right, he was terrible. He was too occupied with arguing back to the crowd, and lost the plot completely. Funny stuff really.
The ground was ok, a bit soft but not as bad as i thought it would be after rain.

#12 i think from memory, Ed Murray. He was very good, not sure he is as fast as Flanigan or Cibich though.

Yes i have got wind of that through the post of aceman & its funny how a player like Taylor for eg who left Port 8-9 weeks ago is one thats been targeted.
Why would they take so long?
Maybe because they have lost more & more since that time.
Its not good for the club ( Port ) to be losing players like they have but what can you do if their heart isn't there to play at that level?
I know i wouldn't want them there, maybe the club should be looking deeper as to why these blokes are leaving in the first place, you won't get the best out of them forcing them to play somewhere their not enjoying.
Be very interesting wheather this imposed sanction is bluff or not. What would the player do if he was forced out of the game for 2 years?
If these guys were players with League potential surely the club would of been in contact with them within a week of their departure.

They shouldnt be spending time in trying to entice players that dont want to be at Port Adelaide back to the club.... Look to the future play some of the kids in the U18s. There are 5 or 6 who have a real crack.
Not sure why this is in the Div 3 thread.

Big win by St Peter's on the weekend considering they did not have
Beinke or Hardy.

Mitcham would have been expecting to get a lot closer than they did.

Maybe St Peter's structure up better without Beinke and Hardy, they
might not want them back this week.

Very ominous signs for the rest of the comp i think, with SPOC winning by so much against a side that has been going ok.

Good to hear that the Portland boys have been training well but has portland's loses been due to poor training performances? or is it more of a spat of 5 or 10 minutes in a game where they've let the other teams take hold of the game? I see some poor kicking may be a big issue with some of the very close loses.

Combination of all those things i would say Suri. Getting training right is as good a place as any to start though i reckon.

As was the reaon for mypost Suri. Again if we can carry that form from training over we should see things turn around. In agreeance with Felch it is where our form will change. Just getting back to basics and really nut down a game plan we will get back to our form last year

If Portland can get their game day form right its gonna make for a very interesting tussle in the relegation zone. The Thunder boys need to win this week to put even more pressure on Scoth and Iggies (where have Iggies gone?). IMO Salisbury will need a miracle to stay in Div 3, but the second spot is a very close race.
W L Pts
7. Old Ignatians 3 6 6 48.4%
8. Scotch OC 3 6 6 42.7%
9. Portland 2 7 4 46.2%
10. Salisbury 1 8 2 32.8%

Be very interesting to see this weekends results.
Old Ignatians v Salisbury Iggies need to win and should get over the line. but it is probably the best chance for Salisbury to get win no. 2
Scotch OC v SMOSH West Lakes Smosh 6+ goals
Woodville South v St Peter's OC SPOC 6+ goals
Walkerville v Mitcham Cats at home, but under 4 goals.
Para Hills v Portland Only because their training has been exceptional this week

Tips -

Salisbury to beat Iggies, 2 goals.
SMOSH to account for Scotch, 6 goals
SPOC way too good for Woody South, 10 goals plus.
Walkies to beat Mitcham, 6 goals
Portland over Para Hills, 2 goals. If that happened, it would be an 18 goal turn-around from round 1

We think we can still avoid relegation, making up two games over nine rounds has been done plenty of times before.

Especially with the top 4 teams making a break on the rest of the comp. The avoid-relegation battle is well and truly on !!!

Writing off Salisbury is a terrible idea guys, Prior to the break Iggies Lost to Woodville South who were around their mark, Scotch who prior to us had not won a match and ParaHills convincingly, have come back from the break and were comprehensivly beaten by Portland. We have come back from the break with some good inclusions and lads with a bit of confidence under the belt. Pushed SMOSH for 3/4's...

Salisbury by about 5 goals.

Agree with you there RM.

Pag to shutdown Frinsdorf this week, he will be having nightmares for the next week about annoying rangas, living in his pocket... ;)
