Heard tonight (no, not from the same source as the medal info) that a certain North Eastern club may lose their coach and several players to another club just up the road. Making a huge pitch for the group I believe.

FS, do you remember seeing this post a few weeks ago, Sept 9 to be precise?????

That's what I'm talkin' about!!!! ;)

I remember it...... ;)

I'll bet you do...... and if Weaver doesn't take the job, who is next on the "hit list"?
I think I know that one too! Well, maybe I do!

Does anyone know who is going for the Salisbury North job?

Or have they appointed someone already?
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

I'm thinking Bob must be totally confused.
Maybe it's too much electricity in his veins, does he really want the job or is it too good to knock back, the money I mean!

He's putting his reputation on the line with this if it happens, not sure he'll get the outcome he wants.
Big call I know but why would he do it? Should just be slipping into retirement gracefully, it's a young blokes caper nowadays.

don't think it would be the money. bobby is doin alright in that department already.
probably just wants a big challenge. did wonders for the state team, and took it to a new level under his reign. maybe just the temptation of turning huge potential into actual success was a bit hard to refuse.

I remember him coaching Glandore, didn't do any good and his reputation took a fair hammering and it took him a while to recover. All I'm saying is that if it doesn't work in the affirmative, all that good stuff gets a little tarnished and the reputation gets another little dent in it.

Just start with player payments, have players playing more for the jumper & club rather than $$$$.

I have heard from a very reliable source that some of the senior players have been in contact with Bob Cross and also went to his work to talk him into coaching.

Apparently the job is his if he wants it.

Probadly the same senior players that didnt turn up to training for a number of weeks towards the end of the season? or the same group of senior players who helped themselves to the bar one night, effectively stealing from the hand that feeds them. Maybe they are insecure about the new appointment, which may bring change?

couldnt be further from the truth NM. i think you will find that its quite the opposite and the club has fallen on its sword from an earleir precendent that had players gettin huge payments for mediocre performances.. these days i would think that more players there are there for the right reasons and the fact that money is not getting sprayed around is the reason no decent recruits have been lured to the club instead opting to join other northern club$.
