Went past Marryatville HS again last night DE - quite a few out at training

Good physical hitout with Para Hills yesterday. In about 50km winds the score ended up Para Hills 17.6 - Pooraka 14.13
Good to have our first hitout for the year.

How did any other teams go yesterday or Friday night in trial games?

Jimmy, wasn't at training myself but good to hear the numbers are continuing to stay strong.

We played Iggies in a trial yesterday, down Puccini, Margatich, Primus, Rivers and a few others.

6 quarters (? doesn't sound right I know) with no scores kept, but we had some very impressive signs, mixture of A's and B's for both teams for all 6 quarters. Not bad for Jars' first hit out as coach. Next trial vs Rosewater at Kilburn oval under lights on the 27th. Thet will be 2 full games A's and B's.

Had 40+ players available which was good.
Same side as last year + some handy recruits. Play Mitcham and Pulteney in trials I've heard.
Rd. 1 at Greenacres. Beat them twice in 2007... assuming they've improved a bit$$$

where was my beer?!? i was there!

its was a 6 1/4 game and scores werent kept mate.
Woody South started putting their A graders on a bit earlier than ours but the B graders did well to hold their own. I left with 1/4 to go but the A grade were winning in my opinion.

Another trial Thurs night I believe... this drinking caper is gonna get expensive.

Spoke to your coach catchisthecry and he said he was pleasantly suprised with a few of the players in the trial, being new to the club he hadnt seen any of them play.

Yeah boys went well. Top players in good form, like I said some handy recruits and younger players looking to improve.
Have a good mix I think.
1st quarter was scrappy, windy conditions. But rest of the game skills were good.
I don't think we'll be as bad as some people on here think we will be!
Hope not anyway!!
