I just checked too, and he is on the C grade teamsheet from round 4 when we played him, but he didnt suit up. I dont think he was even there !!!

Maybe an example of this extra-players rule for the C grade being exploited...

PS - you beat me to it Suri !!!

Did anyone bring up with the league he can't drop two grades it might stuff their plans?

Some blokes getting a run in the higher grade this week. Some pretty good inclusions. Should (hope) see a better contest than earlier in the year. We really owe it to ourselves to put in and give it a red hot crack

No in fact even after 10 weeks injured you need to get a permit to drop 2 grades.

Not quite the same Marbles. SPOC have a good A, B and C grade - Pulteney were just trying to stack their C grade at the expense of their higher grades. Blatant cheating.

Old Iggies v Salisbury - although not in great form, should still get the points at home.
Scotch v SMOSH - bit of an upset, smaller oval could trouble SMOSH, < 3 goals.
Woody South v SPOC - SPOC far too good.
Walkerville v Mitcham - Big game for the Hawks, plenty to play for.
Para Hills v Portland - Portlands misfortune to start up again, PH by < a goal.

Not to sure on our A grade side as I left early. I have to say that i have never played against or at a club as disgraceful as Para Hills. As in round 1 the club umpire for the 2's has no concept of football and is a downright cheat. I can say there was one decision that changed a bit of the play in the 3rd quarter but really wuldnt have changd the outcome.
The crowd and in particular a select few were an utter joke. I remember them being pretty bad a few years ago but christ not this bad.
It was a great physical game a very good game until the last 1/4. Para Hills resorte to filthy disgraceful acts of total crap. What they dished up you would think you were playing div 7R. I dont care about the physical part of the game but when you are struck with a flying elbow to the face 20 metres behind play you start to wonder how these bastards are allowed to play. It was me that wasstruck by there number 45. The umpires didnt see it but he was sent off for it. His explanation when i was getting helped was " if he kicked the goal i wouldnt have done it". The bloke should have got a bullet. Even the captain i thik came over and helped me and asked if i was alright. I heard the coach gave him a deserved spray for doing it. It was the lowest most disgraceful act if have had done or seen for a long time. Not only that bloke but a few others resorted to those tactics. Why would you bother when you are in front with 5 mins to go. The supporters looked more at home just lik if they were sitting down out the front of the Wellcania hotel drinking and sniffing glue than where they were today. As I said earlier and many blkes that are on here have said aswell. They are nothing but filth and should be recognised for nothing less.
