Thought our Smithy boys in the B grade put up a great fight against Rosies and perhaps the final score didn't quite reflect what was a very competitive game.

Will Mr Branson be fronting up this week in the 2's for Kenilworth???

Here are my A grade tips, for what it's worth:
Blackfriars vs Rosewater - 30 points
Smithfield vs Kenilworth
Plympton vs Pulteney - 18 points, should be a cracker of a game, don't think anyone would've picked Plympton 0-2 before the season, could happen now
WOS vs Hope Valley - 20 points, should be another good game, last years GF rematch?
Ingle Farm vs Elizabeth - 4 points, don't write the Farmers off yet, I'll tip an upset here

Kenilworth 6 points
Plympton 5 goals
Hope Valley 3 points
Elizabeth 15 goals
Blackfriars under a kick

Looks to seriously be a belter of a round leading into ANZAC Day, good luck to all.

I would like to see all the Smithfield players and supporters welcome D Branson back to Smithy with a barage of physical and verbal assult.

That wont happen, he's a good lad who had no choice but to defect to Kenilworth, he'll probably bring two polo shirts with him and stick around for a few after the game.

Has anyone else noticed that in the budget they have Hope Valley beating Westminster in Grand Final last year??

Im pretty sure Westminster won didnt they? (maybe im wrong)
Everyone likes to jump on with faults with sportsbeat and the saafl edition but yet there is mistakes in this one also
Not having a go at whoever wrote it (they all take time out to do it) but alot of people slag the other editions
Most are done by volunteers and in the end we all read it whether there is few mistakes or not.

Overall thought Div 5 spread was well done! =D>

Willaston done their annual "poach the Smithfield kids", coaxed young Chris into going out there, signed him up straight away, he later thought about it as he is also involved with Speedway which will affect his availability and he has grown up playing at Smithfield and decided he'd prefer to play with us.
Willaston are refusing to clear him back and would rather see an 18 y.o sitting out of footy, now I see some peanut trying to get on here and crack jokes about it, Chris is devastated and given the amount of players that we have cleared to Willaston over the years seems really weak that they have taken this stance.

They think that he'll give in and play out there, not happening. He is young and was being naive and signed on out there.
