Clubrooms overlooking the oval is perfect for viewing, but why would you let people bring their own grog and drink right next to the place? I don't get it. And furthermore they aren't condoned for doing it and are actually applauded cos of their previous acts at the club. You won't see a group drinking out of their own eskies right next to the club at Broadview and Gepps Cross. From the outside looking in, Ingle Farm seem to have far more problems than their coaches and the playing group. Good Luck to them in changing their culture as it appears it won't happen overnight.

Yes our club has risen from a mid table side in Division 7 from a couple of years ago, and if someone had said to me then, that 6 rounds into 2012 we'd be top of Div 6 with 3 sides to choose from I would have questioned the person's sanity.

so what has turned the club around then to be so competitive and out of the doldrums? mostly its the juniors within the club that gets a club improving

Could he see this coming?

I think all the credit for Mawson Lakes going forward should be given to Geoff Riddle. He has recruited the right guys to the club who are not just good footballers but also good blokes. The committee is going forwards now in leaps and bounds and the player have great respect for each other on and off the ground.
In short it all comes down to Geoff Riddle.
