Kilburn are the knights, they were known as the Chicks (or Chics) as the Suburb was Chicago years ago, am I correct there historians?? How could the club get rid of their traditional mascot????

i reckon your right on that....kilburn was known as a hard but fair club in the early 90s...prob been one of the successful clubs

There has been a few clubs with their div 1 success,hell I reckon we have won more Div 1 flags than Kilburn (That stirs people up) but Uni stand out. An unreal club, you wonder when they run out on the ground sometimes whether they are serious but they always give you a hell of a game, hell 100 years in div 1 is a fair record.

The Flamingo at the Zoo wasnt born when we won our last div 1 flag mate, will not be coming any time soon......I'd be happy to see us competative in div 4, thats a solid competition

I think he means the suburb jointman, not the footy club. Port Adelaide and Rosewater the suburbs were both known as Greytown at one stage

By the 1940’s this was becoming a problem, so the Port Adelaide Council moved to reduce the number of local district areas to 18, in 1945. The boundaries and names of the suburbs were further stabilised when postcodes were introduced to Australia in 1967

im pretty sure they are once again known as the chics, i believe their committee changed it back last pre season.

call me stupid i have been missin for a few days but whats this talk about kenilworth staying in div 5 or going to div 6 cant understand. they were relegated am i correct so thought they would not have a choice?
