I am being serious by the way (about the ACL, not the red cans, but he does go close)
Division 3 will be less of a place without the great man.

Sounds like a bad night all round, we had another 7 changes in the A Grade tonight with injury/unavailability to add onto the list we already had, plus another couple out of the B Grade. Think the Bs and Cs are going with only 20 so the Ds can field a side, and they still only had 17 named at this stage.

Its the second ACL we have had this year, and we are waiting on the results of tests on 2 other knee injuries to key players. Injuries are starting to bite deep - we have had a reasonable run until now. We are going to pay for not putting more wins on the board when we were close to full strength i feel.

Might have to smooth out those roughies I took....

Have faith Jimmy, have faith...

We are still putting a stronger side on the field than we did in round 2 against Walkies - and we lost after the siren on that occasion !!!

I'd say it wont be the rehab that will take time, it will be the 12 months to get the extra 20kgs of WED of the front of the caboose

You know that I have given you some advice fist. I think the best thing will be to just eat the right foods and do yourexercises and get your rehab moving as quick as you an. The sooner your back on deck the sooner you can get rid of whatever it is your carrying around. There is nothing anyone can say really. Again everyone is different.

I agree with you Felch. I think if the boys can stop the run that walkies have off half back and the stopage set up that they have (always 1 or 2 blokes out the back waiting for the give) we should stay with them and take control. I know this was the case with the B grade in round 2. They had so much run ad drive off half back. It was the 3rd and more so the last 1/4 that killed us. They are a side as we all would know now that would just run and run all day. If we man up hopefully all grades will come away with the win

Marbles, the portland a grade are in with a chance if they can do the things you say, but looking at the scores for the b grade and c grade for both teams - you would need a miracle to win all 3 games. Portland B's are bottom playing an undefeated side who belted you by 151 points last time, and your c's have the same amount of wins (1) and were beaten by 130+ points to Walkerville's c grade in round 2.
A grade - Still going with Portland in an upset
B grade - Walkerville by plenty
C grade- Walkerville by plenty

Surily you can read what I wrote earlier. Surily it isnt that hard to read. Surily if I highlight what i have written then Surily you will understand.

This is the start of what i wrote " I think if the boys can stop the run that walkies have off half back and at the stopages etc etc"
Now, lets have a look at the word that is standing out. IF we can do those things and IF we do it all day we might come away with the wn. The A's are a different side to round 2. The B grade allthough not registering enough wins have strung together some decent patches of football and IF it was done continuously throughout the year we might have won more games. It was just an optimistic comment with a point of veiw that IF we did these things the result may not be what everyone predicts. Now the C Grade has had thumpings like other bottom sides but it's the same deal as the B Grade. Good displays of footy and stringing some good plays together but just not for 4 1/4's. We wold play well in the first 2 then drop away in the third then completely in the last. The same principle applies IF we do these things............................ well you can gather what i'm trying to say here too.

I hope this lears it up for Surily it has ;)
