Don't no why Ross Brokensha will make a difference, spoke to him the other day he admits hes to old to slow and the body isn't what it used to be. Ross said not sure who the guys is but its nice to see at his age and that one of the boys looks up to him ;)
Nothing is easier.

On the SAAFL website, Henley had multiple goalscorers, totaling 29 goals, but the score is still registered as 0.0. I would imagine they either played an unregistered player and got caught out, or they had 19 players on the field very late in the game and they lost their score due to a player count??????

i didn' play today and i'm pretty disappointed in this scoreline. especially when my boys went in at half time a goal up... someone please explain!!! i had a quick to one of our boys who said there was a bit of rough and tumble from the AV boys and the umpiring was, well, amateur (to be generous)...

either way to lose by that after being up at the half is shattering!!!
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

or they had 19 players

i dont believe that rule is in anymore i believe if a head count is called the umpires note it and if a team is to have to many on the field it goes to 'fullofshitcastle' other wise know as the saafl and then they decide what to do.

and as in our case a team had 19 on the field against us we called a head count and they should've had 17 on the field not 18 as 1 of there blokes got sent off but they had 19 on the field yeah work that shit out! and nothing happened to them at all yet in the same game we had a guy call the goal ump and i qoute " you f@#king cheating c#$t" and gets 4 games yet again the powers that be at 'fullofshitcastle' amaze me

*******NOTE ; i dont agree with what was said to the goal ump. **********
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Certainly mark of the year from what ive seen this year, well done to your boys Barn had to much run for our boys. Not a bad leap with a sore knee hopefully he pulls up ok for next week. Might have to get the video camera out and just keep on filming him because he pulls in those kind of marks each week and wouldnt be surprise to see another huge grab from Stanley.

Back to 5/5 for me 8)

The Saints had been poor for the past 2 weeks and with a match against a side desperate to make the 5, it had been touted as a 'Danger' game for the Riddler as his boys made the road trip to Flinders University. Riddler also had to face up to a growing injury list with over half his side from Saturday, had started in the B grade this season. Riddler must have smashed a few mirrors or crossed a few black cats during the year as every Thursday night selection is becoming a headache for the Saints Coach. These 'Headache's' are becoming a problem for the Riddlers wife, as he isn't doing his his share of the household chores, especially at night, but that's another story. However these 'Headaches' were passed onto his counterpart Ross Brokensha as St.Pauls were out of the blocks quickly with a 6 goal first quater. Midfielders Lachlan Kennett, Nathan Bruce-Gordon and Scott Mumford were winning the clearances and Ivan Novosel snared some early goals. The Lipapis brothers were working well together up forward, as the Saints took a 10 goal lead a the long break. The 3rd term was arguably the Crabs best as it peppered the goals, but wasteful kicking saw it failing to bridge the gap on the scoreboard. The Saints posted it's biggest win of the season running out 84 point winners. Travis Smits played his best game for the year and was correctly named the Saints Best while Novosel kicked his 50th for the year and ended with 8 goals. St.Pauls have a big chance of cementing the Double Chance with a win against the lowly Angle Vale this week, while the Flinders University Crabs will need to improve to grab hold of the tightly fought 5th position.

Even if this was the case it would have had to have been in the last few seconds because if it was any longer than that Henley still would have had enough time to at least kick a goal. We were very comprehensively beaten but a much better team. Im sure this will all get cleared up and the scores will get corrected with Henley winning by 29+ goals.

Umpiring didn't cost us the game against Athelstone we were woeful and beaten by a better side but if it is the same umpire you are talking about (tall guy, short hair, goatee) yes he's ordinary...Flinders one on the weekend was not much better, would love to have him every week if i was them.

Yes, same bloke, and definitely ordinary, however, so were we. Another second half fade out, when the going gets tough some players are going missing.

Was looking forward to seeing him play on saturday but he was a late withdrawal before the game, has only played 1 or 2 games since going up there I think.
