But if others want to try and predict our season and give us wraps then go ahead and feel free because we take them as a compliment rather than a burden. ;)

Fair point choccies, I realise a fair bit of the stuff written on here is fairly far fetched, however there a lot of GG boys on here and alot of talk about GG. With that and the fact that according to the poll (which maybe bullshit also) it has marked GG as the flag favourites in Div 4 and that means everyone will be out to beat you guys! Everyone likes knocking off the favourites! ;)

Exactly... alot written on here is fiction and the polls are as useless as a one-legged man in an ass kicking competition.... it's purely weight of club numbers that forces votes to look like they do. But we will be out to beat everyone as everyone will be out to beat us !! We dont write anyone off and it would be fair to say we wouldn't know alot about most of the teams so to compare is a waste of time.... we do get a fair bit of 'airplay' on here, but that may just represent false respect and the perception that we will be good rather than us earning that respect... But, let the games begin and let the banter flow !! ;)

WTF. Have I been deceived for the past 6 months....

Pretty sure you're on the money there fisty.

Conrad played at Salisbury West last year. Salisbury West have recruited well considering all the doom sayers. There has been a larger turn over of players there this off season compared to others but isnt that what everybody wanted, get rid of the bad eggs????

For anyone who is interested, The Dolphins take on Rosies at kilburn Oval tomorrow night under lights.
The A grade are on at 8pm, B's start at 6pm.
Apparantly Rosewater are looking ok this season, should be a good hitout.

dolphins did very well against the dogs. From what I saw the best players were Damian Keen and Ryan Bubba. Won't hang our hats on a trial game but very happy with the output of the dolphins.

Keeping a lid on it Shark Bait or is it the knock on the head causing a bit of amnesia? Flipper is 2" shorter today ](*,) ](*,)
What about Ben Primus with 10? CBCOC's are a much improved team this year

Dolphin Express showed some early season form with General like performance in the backlines of the 2's

To all div 4 clubs this year, if Fitzroy's B grade umpire for the year is the same bloke who did the B and C grade trials yesterday against Para Hills, beware. He will certainly keep fitzroy in the game for a long time if yesterdays performance was anything to go by.

Hey Bulldog, Parahills won the B's & they are a very well drilled unit & move the ball really well off their half back line so i think they will be right up there at the business end of the season in Div 3R, we came back in the last qtr but i think they took the foot off then as it was bloody hot out there in the Two's & we have a lot of new players & we still got a little bit off work to do.

Tips Round 1.

FITZROY v Golden Grove by 5 pts Lions to get up in a close one over the Kooka's.
POORAKA v Unley by 60 + pts Bulls will run riot over the Jets me thinks.
PAOC v CBCOC by 24 pts Reds to get the points over a much improved CBC at Norwood Oval.
GREENACRES v Adelaide Lutheran by 12 pts Dragons wont get it all their own way playing the Dogs.
North Haven v SALISBURY WEST by 18 pts Westies down from Div 3 to get the points over the Magpies.

Good Luck Boys!
